I love the innovative design. This thing assembles with support struts inside the fabric shell similar to how my tents are assembled. Very simple and fit for purpose. And for $17, it has high value and a clean modern appeal to it. Keep in mind, the cover is just a fabric covered piece of...I wanna say cardboard?? So...don't pile alot of weight on it, or else you'll just have a bent piece of cardboard for the cover. (I've got mine folded back so it isn't covered, period); things just get thrown in.
I replaced a wicker hamper in my bedroom because my cat destroyed it. Once I figured out how to put it together I guess it was alright. My friend suggested reinforcing the bottom by placing a piece of cardboard the size of the bottom. I will do that today. Not my first choice but I will definitely keep it. My cat is not interested in the cloth so its safe.
To start off, this is a nice foldable laundry hamper. If you're someone that puts looks first and typically grab their laundry out of the hamper to do laundry, this is a great unit. However, if you're someone that's more tough and tumble, this likely isn't for you. For example, I like to just lift my hamper and dump it right into the washer. This unit however is held up by metal rods that won't always stay in place. So my method of washing clothes requires me to always reset the hamper after use. As said previously, it might not be a big deal depending on how you do your laundry, but it's a good thing to be aware of!
This hamper is nice and tall and holds 2 loads of laundry probably but I think mine has a defect and stands crooked. We tried adjusting rods but it is the way it's sewn on bottom that makes it crooked. I may return for another one.
Cute but poor design! The poles don't slip through pockets. They just stand inside and have one small slit where the Velcro is to go though and nothing on the bottom to keep them aligned. The Velcro doesn't match up. It's top heavy because of the poor weight distribution. Cute idea but absolutely terrible design! It took WAY too long for 4 pieces!
I should have read the reviews. Who decided that Velcro straps with no pockets or anything with metal rods just precariously slipped behind the straps was anything other than dumb? Why not just pockets for the rods? Getting a refund.
This laundry hamper is terrible, I was definitely played by the fake paid off reviews on this hamper. It has no support other than 4 cheap sticks that put from top to bottom, however there's not where to put the stick into to hold it. They just sit on the wood and a Velcro goes on top, one of the velcros was short and didn't even reach. Anyway, take on breath and the sticks pop out of the place and the hamper crumbles down like a destructed tower. The handles are extremely inconvenient to hold, both arms go numb from the awkwardness after going down one flight of stairs. I usually like to throw my laundry across the room into the laundry basket, but with this one. I had to walk myself over the room and pry the crumbled tower open to squeeze a sock in. Long story short, find you another laundry basket. I had this delivered to my house, now I have to go to Walmart just to return it. Thank you for ruining my day crumbled tower.
YES 4 BEND DOUBLE CHEAP STICKS, NOTHING TO THREAD THEM THROUGH ONLY BALANCING BETWEEN THE BOTTOM OF THE HAMPER AND THE WOOD ON TOP OF THE HAMPER. THIS IS ALMOST IF NOT THE DUMBEST HAMPER. I'VE EVER SEEN. AND LOOKING AT THE REVIEWS, CLEVER ME IS NOT A TITLE. YOU SHOULD USE FOR YOUR COMPANY. THIS ISN'T CLEVER, IT IS STUPID. YOU'RE RIPPING PEOPLE OFF EVEN ON CLEARANCE. WE'LL BE RETURNING
very expensive hard to put together difficult to find in or procure unless price pount is high so you guys are esse tally taking advantage of people's needs by making things less affordable and harder to find in a recession
Technically, this thing doesn't even deserve a star. This is the cheapest piece of crap I ever seen in my life. Fabric with metal rods, holding it together, give me a break.
