Clorox Pool&Spa Florida Blue 3" Chlorinating Tablets, 5lb

I purchased these tablets in late April when I opened the pool and waited all the summer to write a review. First of all, I live in FL where the summers are hot, humid and wet! This is my third season with my above ground pool and the first 2 seasons I used liquid bleach. I had to test the water and add bleach every single day along with all the other chemicals. Despite my efforts, I'd end up with algae bloom at least 3 times throughout the summer putting my pool out of commission while I spent more money on chemicals to clear up the pool water. Then I tried Clorox Florida Blue this spring and I waited...beautiful clear water. And the heat and humidity came this summer and I waited...beautiful clear water. Then came all the rain came and I waited...beautiful clear water. It's now Oct 14th and guess what? Beautiful clear water!!! One tablet once a week with very little other chemicals needed have made my summer completely stress free. Florida Blue I love you!!!

The tablets last longer in my pool it also has help keep my water more clear Great product.

My pool has stayed perfectly clean and clear by using these tablets. I use one about every two weeks. In the winter maybe longer.

These seem to hold up longer and give a more consistent reading on chlorine levels. Would like to see more Florida products where the sun, heat, and summer rain take a constant toll on our pools.

I have used Chlorox pool products for several years so I was interested in their new product formulated for Florida pools. The big difference is it also includes stabilizer to help the chlorine last longer. With the Florida sun and rain that is a "must" chemical in our pools. I love this product. Works great but my only reason for not giving a 5 star is they seem to dissolve too slowly for my automatic chlorinator unlike other brands. Have to add them to the overflow weekly to keep up with the same dissolve rate. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

This is a great product but there is one thing that drives me nuts about the packaging. The tablets are individually packaged which makes filling up the pool chlorine dispenser more of a chore as you need to remember to lug your scissors with you. Other than that frustration the product seems to be working as advertised and looking forward to using it longer now that we are in the thick of raining/hot season here in Florida.
