It's sometimes hard to find cables for older components. When you have equipment like Sony sound systems and quality things that last sometimes you still need the older hookups with newer parts to connect to new smart TVs. This was great!

this solved a problem. when connecting cable to an older TV the image was off center so we could not see the complete scene. with this older style cable at a lower resolution itbworks fine
