great little shovel
lightweight, good quality. we use it in our beach cart for digging small holes. lasted years before cracking, but to be expected in salt water and ocean air. this is our 2nd one, so that tells you we liked it.

Does not work for me
Lots of ultralight backpackers swear by these. But this trowel does not work for where I hike. I had to pull out my fixed blade to quickly dig a cathole. If plastic trowels are strong enough for where you like to hike then this will be great for you as it is very lightweight. But be aware this trowel can't do the job everywhere.

The Quality
The Quality of the digger is not that we'll built if your digging into dirt with rocks forget about it... it's only good for soft to hard dirt with no rocks in it...
