Anyone who has undergone chemotherapy knows that the chemo drug along with anti-nausea medication can cause incredible, painful constipation. When you're already feeling physically depleted, struggling with that is the last thing you need. My oncology team recommended Colace, and I am so grateful they did. Colace works gently as a stool softener. Does not create cramping or sudden urge to "run" to the bathroom. It makes it much easier and less painful for stool passage. For me, it did not cause stomach pain. It was not fast acting, took a couple of days, just gradually got my digestive system back on track If you are going through chemo, don't wait until you are completely miserable to start taking Colace. For me it made the recovery process so much more comfortable

When Your tummy just isn't moving the workload lol it helps, but you need to drink it with a whole glass of water.Each time , that is eight ounces , minimum. follow the instructions. And stay hydrated. what this does is helps fluids collect in the intestines and helps it move along. Colace is a wonderful product list is a wonderful product. My family has used both the 50 mg as well as the 100 milligram capsule. It is gentle to the body and produces results.

A Nurse in the hospital told me to buy this, because my medication they gave me stops bowel movet, this stuff here is great .Within 2-3 hours it's a relief. No diarrhea. Where other meds have given me issues after taking it

It is extremely awkward to get items I did not order. Especially when I have absolutely no use for them - or storage room for them. W ould be great if someone could collect them.

i ordered collace stool softeners.. 100 gels.. waited over a week for delivery.. what i received was a 30 tab bottle of Senocot laxative and stool softeners.. not even close

the taste was hortid , the capsule immediately disolved on my tongue, i had to brush my tongue to remove the pieces of the capsule that had moved to the back of my tongue . try another way !
