Colavita Perciatelli Pasta, 16 Ounce

I have never this type pasta other than in a restaurant. I'm thrilled with the way it holds the sauce throughout and its a bit thicker which I also love! I felt like there should have been a candle in a Chianti bottle on a red checked table cloth! I will order again! It arrived by shipping and the noodles were not broken, bonus!

I grew up in NJ eating Perciatelli pasta, my father's favorite pasta, so we ate it every Sunday. Living in the midwest for 45 years, I could never find it in any store. It was too expensive to get it online. Then I discovered it on the Walmart website! I was thrilled that the price was very reasonable for 1 lb. I ordered it along with other items and got it last week. I've enjoyed ‘a blast from the past' great pasta. It cooked well and tastes great!! If you like thicker spaghetti, this is it!! There's also an organic version, which is a little more money, but not much! I'll try it next! I'm full Italian and age 73.

Good Flavor... I live in Nor Cal, No where to buy Perciatelli locally. I guess the Italian population, has Fallen off the charts.

Those who know great hard to find pasta shapes love perciatelli. A much thiner version of Buccatini

Good Pasta! Nice texture!

This is the best pasta for saucy dishes! The sauce not only coats the out side but gets soaked up into the middle after some rounds of stirring whilst sitting in the sauce before serving. You will have a hard time finding this and Fusilli Corti Bucati (looks like this pasti but in a long coil shape under 1.5 in. long) as many online vendors, not sure where 😉😉 have been buying it up and reselling for double, triple and quadruple the price listed here.

This pasta is very hard to find in the supermarkets but found it here on Walmart. The pasta is unique, and we love it. Only one negative, it's packaged in a clear wrapper, not a box, and mailed all three times I bought it in a plastic mailing envelope causing half the tubes to break. Why? I've received cans of soup from Walmart packed in a cardboard box so why mail pasta FedEx in a plastic bag??

A little on the thin side a la spaghetti otherwise good taste.
