Coleman Butane/Propane Mix Fuel 7.75oz

I prefer to buy the next size up, but if they do not have them, I will buy these. I then use a fuel transfer from campmoon to move fuel from the large tank to the small ones.

i purchased this fuel for a heater/stove i recently purchased. I'm hoping it does the job. I havent tried it yet. my only concern is that there is no protective cap for transit, so i fabricated a strong cardboard box to carry it in. I am trusting the Coleman brand, this peoduct had the best (lowest) price. so i hope i made the right choice.

It burns. Used these with my backpacking stuff during a power outage. It helped to make food for three days!

This is an excellent alternative to more expensive isobutane canisters. I'm really glad you folks carry this and that it's at such a reasonable cost. Thank you.

As far as the gas and container go, it works great in my Optimus stove and my Primus mini-lantern. My Optimus Elektra FE cook set is designed to hold a Optimus fuel canister inside the compact pot system and this Coleman tank fits fine as well. I wish my Walmart would stock some other sizes. The Coleman canisters are stackable for easy storage, I just wrap a piece of packing tape around the joint where the canisters come together. I also put a piece of packing tape over the top fitting until I am ready to use the canister as there is no cover seal keeping dirt and debris out of the fuel port. They hold 220g of the fuel blend and the whole canister when full weighs in at ~360 grams. The fuel blend is supposed to provide for good service at extremely low temperatures, but I have not conformed this feature. I deducted one star for the lack of a fuel port cover but otherwise a great product.

Priced too high. Can get 20lbs of propane for the price of two small canisters.

This type of fuel container can be quite expensive so I was surprised to find it at such a great price AND with a brand that is (was) usually trusted. RUN AWAY. This is the worst fuel I have ever bought. It may be okay at first, but as the can empties, it refuses to supply pressure properly. I had to constantly shake the can to keep the fuel flowing. WHAT! NOPE! It is especially terrible when it is cold.

I order this propane tank along with stove ...however when I went for pickup ..they said unavailable at last moment, its something walmart needs to fixed ..i booked the stuff 12 hrs early and paid all the amount and got the confirmation for pickup ..however I only got propane tank with stove ..what should i do with this.
