I like that this toothpaste controls bacteria because that causes bad breath, plaque and cavities. It's refreshing and minty, plus it helps with whitening. I brush often to refresh my mouth and upper denture. It doesn't hurt my sensitive teeth and I like that a lot.

Colgate Total Active Prevention Deep Clean Toothpaste, Mint leaves our mouths and teeth feeling so good. My husband and I love how it leaves our mouths feeling. We actually brush more than a couple of times a day. I have an upper denture and after a meal, I like to get all the food particles out so they don't irritate my gums. This is perfect for that.

Colgate Total has the FANCY fluoride. Quite a few years back, my dentist prescribed some toothpaste ($20 for a small amount). I later found this, with the same fancy fluoride (in the same % of strength). I'm not big on the flavor, but it works great! It not only prevents, but also slows down existing cavity growth (until you can get into a dentist). It has worked great for me, for years. My dentist said it is not for kids (that might swallow it).

This product, in my opinion, is highly effective. I combine it with a quality toothbrush and mouthwash ( I brush and mouthwash 3 times a day ) and the results at my dental cleanings shows it. This product contains stanis flouride, which I was told is highly effective for dental health. When I go to my regular dental cleaning there's no plaque. They only need to remove stains from tea and coffee. The dentist and hygenist give me a thumbs up, as I do this product.

Dispenses easily out of the tube clean and smooth not too pasty. Love the fresh taste and leaves your mouth feeling fresh all day long. Wake-up with fresh breath the morning after.

Colgate Total has been a lifesaver at the dentist. I have had great checkups since I’ve been using this toothpaste. The hygienist has completed how much better my cleanings have been. I don’t plan to change Colgate Total toothpaste any time soon with such good results.

This one tends to have Walmart cash at times if you have Walmart Plus subscription. Keep an eye open for that and you can get it at a better price. It's a little pricey without that. Walmart cash along with subscription discount make it manageable. As far as the product, it is a good pasty variety rather than the gel type.

I used to use just "sensitive" toothpastes and those products never really worked that well. Colgate Total has been a real difference maker. Fresh breath for long periods of time, and it seems to help with sensitivity really well. I've been using this for a little over a year, and it's made a huge difference for me.

Colgate active toothpaste I would say is a seven of ten. Strong but not to overpowering like some. To me it lacks a great flavor to get a 4 or 5 out of 5. I like some of Colgate's other toothpastes better. The price was decent though and the tubes were decent size.

This toothpaste was banned from Brazil and for good reason. I am writing this review with the hope to spare others from what I went through. This toothpaste starts off as minty fresh, but as the days go on the pain intensifies. I had sores on the roof of mouth and gums. It gave me incredible tooth sensitivity, and it even inflamed muscles around my jaw. I couldn't eat without feeling pain. I couldn't even put my tongue on the roof of my mouth without pain. Do not buy this toothpaste!! We use Colgate products almost exclusively, and it's been that way for at least a decade. However, they have lost my trust completely. It's been five days since I stopped using this toothpaste, and though I feel better everyday, I am still not back to normal. Stay away from this toothpaste!!
