This product was so easy to put together is sturdy puts out the most breeze you ever had wanted just like we wanted to do is doing his job is distributing the heat for my furnace throughout the house love it would be anybody should buy this if they need a good household saying
I liked the looks and the quality. However, after unboxing it I found it to be too large for my application. So, I boxed it back up to return it to the store. 1 week later I cleaned up my residence. Moral of this story is ALWAYS CHECK your boxes before placing them in the dumpster! :-( Now it's just an amusing memory :-)
I love this fan. It is very quiet and has three speeds which are great. It puts out a nice breeze. Well-built and I recommend it highly. Very sturdy.
This is the second of these fans that I've bought. The first was dependable %26 easy to put together, until my cat knocked it over and the plastic front cage shattered into a million pieces... So, I was very happy to see that the newer version has a metal front cage. I became unhappy pretty fast when it became apparant that the metal front cage is too large to fit the back. It took at least 5 minutes of using butter knives and body blocks against my kitchen counter to fit it in. I almost gave up and taped it because I worried I might break the back cage, but then I got angry and risked it. They've also changed the base to two pieces for some reason, but at least that was easy to put together. So, I recommend the fan itself, but they really need to adjust the circumference of the back or front cage.
This is a great fan and my 2nd. My first one accidentally fell aff it's perch whilst I was vacuuming. It cools my bdr. quite nicely. The highest speed cools my whole bdrm. off @ night. It is not completely quiet, but close. Great oscillating fan for the money. As good as any Lasko fan of the same size.
The fan is very lightweight. I thought the base would be a little heavier for balance, but it seems to be working fine. The majority of the fan is plastic. The front cage is wire. The back cage is plastic, the base is plastic and of course the fan blades are plastic. Only used it one time so far, but it seems to be working fine.
My exact previous model went south after about two years. So don't expect this fan to last forever. I was concerned about this fan's blade balance. The previous model's blade was not well balanced and it vibrated somewhat, especially on medium and and high speeds. This new model has a much better blade balance. No vibration. Whether that is due to luck or design improvements I cannot tell. I does move lots of air even on low, however overall build quality is a bit flimsy. Future concern about motor life--a typical "made in China" concern.
The entire fan is made of lightweight plastic, from the base to the fan blades. The fan grille is made of very thin wire and is designed to snap into place. However, there doesn't seem to be a clear way to open it again to clean the blades. Overall, it feels rather flimsy and not very durable, although it works for now.
Fan was easy to assemble, did not take long. Disappointed with the amount of air flow. Sitting 10 feet away from the fan with it set on high, you can barely feel any air movement. Oscillation works well, swings through a 90-100 degree arc. Just limited air movement. Will keep it (bad choice on my part) and look for something better.
I ordered 2 Comfort fans and one had a small gray plastic piece that had broken off so the fan could not be assembled. The second fan was fine. I returned to store and received a refund. I could not order the replacement fan from Customer Service and had to order online and it has to be shipped to me. Now an additional $6.99 is being added to the cost. After what I have gone through to reorder, return I should get the fan half off.
