This little fan is great but I have bought two of them and neither one of them have come with a screen or a cover as mentioned in the description. Also note, it only expands to 33” wide and some older homes have bigger windows. This fits perfectly in a window in one of my homes with newer windows but it is too small in my other that has older, bigger windows but the fan still works great even if the expanders don’t fit all the way to the edges! The covers and screen would’ve been nice to have tho.
You can't go wrong with thin fan, I have the big slide windows and Yeah it really cools down my home on really hot days and it does have a exhaust and comes with the the screen and pad that attaches to the back with stretchy loops..And the feet if you want to put it on a table!! Ty I love it and actually only took me a few minutes to set it up and put it in my window!! ❤️
This fan is quiet and has sturdy legs. The fan force is strong. Dual fans but because it is so small it does not cool or move air fast in a large room. Recommend it for a small room only. The cord is very short and it did come with a handy and effective bug screen cover that absolutely works ! Also, in order to to remove air from the room .you have to turn the whole unit around to the face the other side toward the window and move the bug screen to the other side of the fans. I t works well for cooling and exhaust in small rooms.
It definitely exhausts! I am a smoker and I am using this in one side of my attic room where my office is to exhaust the smoke from the room. My partner doesn't smoke and with this fan I do not have to worry about the smoke going anywhere but out the window. For the Spring and Summer they have included bug covers for the outside, whether exhaust or fan. Smart thinking since its so open in the design.
This purchase was my third window fan from Comfort Zone in last 11 years. . All 3 were the same make same model (2 speeds-manual reverse) however this last purchase the fan was NOT the same. Its power level is poor both fan/exhaust. I have corner unit condo %26 place one fan on lake side to pull fresh cool air in %26 place one in bedroom in exhaust to push hot air out. In 11 years seldom have had to use A/C when using fans this way. This newest fan from Comfort Zone struggles to pull/push hot air out using exhaust mode. Don't know what was changed, other than the weak fan power, but this fan is not the same quality as prior fans.
Bugs could still easily get in where the switch is at, even with the covers they provide for when the fan is not in use. The biggest issue I had with it is that there is no lip on the top of the fan to conform it to your window and hold the fan in place. So when you bring a window down onto the fan, friction is all that keeps the fan held vertically so it can still pretty easily slide/fall out of place.
For the price I paid I could have gotten one like I have in my room where the fans move to change direction and the dust covers are a hard cover not that flimsy material that has to cover the whole unit. This is thick framed so doesn't fit well in my side frames maybe would be better for a single hung or double hung window.
Bought two of these for New Hampshire summers. This was one time I wish I read more reviews before buying. Paid entirely too much thinking I was buying a quality fan. Have standard window width and these are so cheaply made they don't expand enough. You have to reverse them to exhaust out air. High speed is noisy. Overall cheap imported junk. I'm confident you can find a better fan for the same amount of money.
Nice little fan. It moves a decent amount of air. However I have one issue with it: it doesn't sit securely in the window. My old double fan had a recessed slot on the top edge, into which the bottom of the opened upper window pane would fit. That made it almost impossible for it to fall out of the window. This fan doesn't have a feature like that, so I don't dare put it fully into the open window. I have to put it on a table next to the window. I'm afraid the thing will fall out of the window, and in my city apartment building it could fall five floors and hit someone on the head.
On December 6th 2025 I returned this item to the North Belt Hwy Walmart Supercenter in St Joseph, MO. The refund was credited to then RE-debited from my account without any "re" purchase! I finally made it back out to talk to customer service but they could "do nothing" and told me to call 1-800- WALMART, which I did. After having to get through the "AI" answering system I spoke to a person in another country who was very polite and apologetic but who ALSO could "do nothing" besides forward my dispute on to "billing" and tell me to keep eyes on email for a response... from WHO? More impersonal AI? It's over a week later and the issue is STILL not resolved
