I needed a window fan until I could get my new AC for my bedroom window. I love the idea that the individual fans turn, like my old metal window fan did back in the early 80's. Kept my room fairly cool while waiting for my new AC unit except on extremely hot days and at least this fan blew in cool air at night and blew air out on hot days. Wish it could have been a metal bladed window fan but I'm satisfied with this one. I'll be buying at least 2 more for the fall weather, one for my living room window and the hallway window.
I live in a high rise apartment and our windows are large in length and the width is narrow. I like the ability to use the fan vertically as it fits the width perfectly on it's side and the length is good for the longer windows. There are 2 speeds. 1 is slow and I don't feel very much. 2 is much more powerful but it is loud. The fans tilt which is nice to direct air. Since I use them vertically the tilt is either up or down. Using the fan horizontally you can tilt side to side.
Fans cool off rooms and do not need air conditioning unless it's humid outside then we use our central AC. We love these fans!!
The fans are quiet but get the white noise that I like. It has kept my room comfortable so far. The true test will be this summer when it's 90-100 outside.
Love how it works I put it in my kitchen window love how the bugs can come in the product is amazing sturdy wonderful. I would recommend everybody to buy it thank you.
I didn't like the screens that come on it, made it too loud. My only other complaint would be the knob is hard to turn-if it was fatter or had a pint that is grab-able it would be better.
The little feet don't snap in and will fall off very easy. The air movement on low is barely there. High setting is more like medium. I didn't give it a 1 star because I bought cheap and got what I paid for. I like that you can turn the blades around and have it blow air out without having to turn the whole thing. I also like that you can change the angle of each side of the fan. It is pretty quiet. If you just need to move a little air it would be fine.
I was really disappointed with this purchase. It is so under Powered and no remote control for the price won't buy again...
It's an extremely loud fan. Very cheaply made, wasn't easy assembling because the additional siding had been poorly made so they were essentially squished. But the biggest issue was it wasn't long enough. My window is 38 inches long but this is only 33inches long so it's too small and these are basic windows. The big catchers are a cute thing. I like that the fans can turn but that's all thing product has going for it. Not worth the price
Loud doesn't blow much cool air
