I volunteer to evaluate products for 3M, and I recently received a free sample of these Command hooks. I decided to try one out yesterday, replacing the nail that I use to hang my dog door cover. I wanted to check the repositionable feature, so moved it 3 times to see if it would still hold on the 3rd position. It worked! The dog door cover is still hanging securely on the hook after 24 hours. I like the product and it's simple to use. I plan on using these hooks when decorating for the holidays. I received this product for free from 3M. they were and are the solution to a problem ive had with hanging a picture on my bedroom wall -that lost its hooks and a fall wreath on my door. Command Adjustables Reposition Hooks move amateur decorators to the expert level. I received a free sample of these hooks in return for my honest opinion of them. Although these hooks are great for temporary seasonal décor, I could not have completed the picture collage in my husband's office without them. I had a group of multiple pictures of varying shapes and sizes that I wanted to place in a semi-symmetrical pattern on a wall. The thought of how many nail holes I would eventually be creating, plastering and painting until I finally found the perfect position on the wall for each picture was the reason the project was continually put on hold day after day. Command Adjustables were the perfect hooks for such a project since these hooks can be re-positioned up to three times without damage to the walls. What was once impossible with an old fashion hammer and nails, now became possible and something I was excited to move forward with and create. The instructions on the package are easy to understand, making the hooks a breeze to use. Creating a masterpiece has never been more fun or easier. Never thought I needed adjustable hooks until... I put my holiday decorations too low and they were in the way of my cabinet closing! I couldn't believe I was actually able to move and reuse the 3 of the 4 hooks!!! The first one I had put up the day before and needed a new adhesive back, but lucky enough the pack comes with extra backs!!! Please note; I received this product for free from 3M. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are nice small hooks. However, repositioning them 3 times is questionable depending on the wall. I tried twice and wouldn't trust it if I was hanging something important. They were perfect for hanging Christmas lights and were easy to remove from windows and walls.
