I volunteer to evaluate products for 3M, and I recently received a free sample of these Command hooks. I decided to try one out yesterday, replacing the nail that I use to hang my dog door cover. I wanted to check the repositionable feature, so moved it 3 times to see if it would still hold on the 3rd position. It worked! The dog door cover is still hanging securely on the hook after 24 hours. I like the product and it's simple to use. I plan on using these hooks when decorating for the holidays. I got these as a free sample. The idea of being repositioned was confusing at first, but it is only for a few minutes before the glue sets in and holds. The hooks don't take a lot of weight so it's hard to know if i just pulled too hard or the glue doesn't hold on the one hook. The others remain up and in place. I received a free sample of these repositionable hooks to try, and they couldn't have come at a better time. I am in the middle of moving, so all the pictures were lined up along the floor waiting to be hung. I am not exactly sure where I want everything to go, so these hooks will be a great help to me in deciding. Plus I don't want to damage or mark up the brand new clean and pretty paint on the brand new walls. So far I have put up several sets of photos and was able to move them around a bit until they were just right. Also tried some art in one of the baths, but I didn't care for it there and put it in the hallway instead. No peeling paint or holes in the wall. Never thought I needed adjustable hooks until... I put my holiday decorations too low and they were in the way of my cabinet closing! I couldn't believe I was actually able to move and reuse the 3 of the 4 hooks!!! The first one I had put up the day before and needed a new adhesive back, but lucky enough the pack comes with extra backs!!! Please note; I received this product for free from 3M.
