Post chemo treatments, my hair came in with more bend/curl. I had never used a flat iron, I had always used a curling iron. Over Christmas I used my sister‘s Conair flat iron, then couldn't wait to order two for myself (one for home and one for my office at work). I am very pleased with my purchase! I like the three settings, since low works better on new hair. 😊
I does what I purchased it for.
Easy to use. Didn't scorch my hair!
I have only bought expensive flat irons in the past, Chi, %26 the last 15 years GHD. I have fine hair and those brands get way too hot. Against my better judgment I bought this Conair Oh So Kind. I absolutely LOVE it! I keep it on the 295 degree setting. My hair looks and feels soft %26 super shiny! It doesn't crimp my hair or fry the ends. I am in shock how great of a product this is! My new GHD flat iron I bought in December has been frying my hair. I thought I would give this Conair a try and I am SO glad I did! 10 stars! Thank you SO much for this product!
I have always had extremely fine hair. For years, I've used basic flat irons and would end up with the ends of my hair fried. Then I found this one. It's great! The lowest heat setting on most irons is 350 degrees. The lowest heat setting on this one is 295. My hair looks better, it feels better, and I'm very happy with it.
I'm OhSoNew to flat irons and while I've tried out 3 just recently - and ALL of them Conair because I've had great luck with their products for many many years and I trust them - the Conair OhSoKind 1" flat iron is my final choice! I love it for several reasons: 1) It does NOT have 45 variable temps - who needs all those temps anyway?? Not me! My hair is fine so I need low temps. This model is designed for fine hair but will heat a tad warmer if you have normal hair. 2) The on/off/temps controls are between the handles so you don't have to worry about accidently changing the temps while using the iron. 3) The irons are slightly shorter than some irons. I love that feature because usually you're using the iron on a small section of hair anyway, right?? So in the end, if you want a simple but amazing flat iron for your fine hair, this is the best one ever!!
I have very fine hair and my $300 straightener was ruining my hair. This made all the difference in my hair. It works way better than any previous straightener I've ever had.
Needs better stability to sit it down to cool off, did not feel safe putting it on countertop or table because it could tip sideways and burn something.
Great hair straightener. If you typically use your straightener to curl your hair this specific style will not work.
Burned my hair...ceramic protection no longer works
