Works well
Overall this is a great alternative if your bike did not come with a standard kickstand. I used this on my son's 18” kids bike that no longer needs training wheels. Since it's a smaller frame the kickstand bolt has to be installed vertical and not horizontal due to the frame size limitation. However it works well when the kid decides to actually use it.

Adjustable kick stand for 16” bikes
Struggled just a bit because it was a 16” bike, (lowest end of adjustable stand), but after searching YouTube in similar bikes, it was a snap!

I have been looking for a kickstand like this. The others I have found were either so thick the kickstand rubbed the back tire, or you had to install them on the back tire which I hate to mess with because of the chain. this one is great and just what I was looking for. Ti be honest I probably would have paid the $19.99 for it because I wanted it but I would have been unhappy about it. But, it was on sale for $7.98 which made me very happy.

installation onto the bike went well, but as soon as I went to loosen the screw for the adjustable length it was extremely tight, and got stripped. not recommended
