Convenience Concepts Newport Park Lane 60" TV Stand, Multiple Colors

The TV/entertainment cabinet is a very nice piece of furniture. It seems to have sitting in the warehouse for some time as some of the 'veneer' had come off on a couple of the top pieces/parts. That being said, I called the parts dept. and I will be getting the damaged parts replaced.

I gotta say that this piece was packed so well I couldn't believe it. When I first saw the box it had holes every where but all the packing inside kept it safe. Shipping was first rate! I wasn't expecting it until after Christmas but it was delivered yesterday. The put together was easy (for my son) and the finished piece is beautiful. Thank you very much

Instructions were not to bad. Couple of items that were easily over looked that did not really cause a problem. They do not say that you have to put the hinges on the doors before connecting to the frame. It is very attractive and sturdy. I love it, Especially for the price! Looks much more expensive. The espresso was the perfect color.

Very nice and sturdy TV stand. Took less than 2 hours to put together. Bigger than I had expected which is great. Box came in a little beat up, but everything inside the box was well protected and in great condition. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for something not too expensive yet still very nice.

This TV stand is awesome looking, sturdy, and holds my 65" TV. There's a lot of storage space too! It arrived with 2 damaged pieces however, dealing with customer service was a piece of cake. took me few hours to put together. some instructions are not clear.

It is definitely as dark as it is pictured. Not sure you can call it Expresso, it is more black. The instruction on how to put it together are pretty easy to follow, though there are a couple instances where it doesn't indicate the side to mount and you have to guess. I didn't use the wood glue so correcting it wasn't too much of a deal. It did have some flaws, not too noticeable, and it shows finger marks as soon as you touch it. Overall, it took me about 2 hours to put together by myself.

This TV stand was great until we had to put the cabinet doors on. The holes weren't aligned properly and now the doors grind against the cabinet when we open and close them. We knew there was a risk for this prior to purchasing (based on other reviews) and bought the stand anyway. If you want the guarantee of a good product, pass on this one -- you get what you pay for.

The doors don't sit flush and are uneven. The screw holes were not placed right. The drawer has space on each side, not sure if it's meant to be that way. The leg add ons are only held on with one screw and a peg, one fell off already and won't go back on right, it's loose. Will try so.e wood glue and a longer screw and see if that helps. as far as the doors, might need to place new screw holes to fix them.

I'm pretty sure we got the wrong size doors. The doors in the picture sit flush on top of the bottom rail where ours hang below it (the top of the doors is nearly flush underneath the top of the stand). The pre-drilled holes for the hinges sat too far back. There was no way to hang the hinge where it was supposed to be AND get the door hung -- door is too big to fit. Hinge was about 1/2" too short. We had to drill new pilot holes in order to get the hinges on and it took forever to get the doors hung. There was one set of screws missing (which was an easy fix with customer service - they sent replacements right away.) The stand does NOT sit level (we'll have to shim it) because it's not square, which mades the bottom drawer extremely difficult to open and close. Both of the pre-drilled dowel holes on the front legs were WAY out of whack, making it impossible to put the dowel in without having to drill new dowel holes...which we chose not to do. Would I buy this again? No. Can I recommend it to others? Only if you're handy, have a drill, and have the patience of a saint (along with an extra set of hands to hold the doors for you while you figure out where they need to hang. In addition, the glass clips used to hold the glass in the doors are clearly visable and they shouldn't be. This is a minor irritation but speaks to the overall attention to detail that's lacking in this product.
