It does the job and the price was right

I purchased this Fashion Studio kit for my 9 year old niece and she absolutely loves it. The kit comes with a bit if material to start with but I highly recommend purchasing additional material bevayse it wasn't much. The instructions are clear and precise and the sewing machine works like a charm!

My 10 year old was and is so excited to use this to create projects. It comes with colorful fabric with printed lines on it to cut out the various projects. The machine takes 4 AA batteries, a seam guide, and a lever to pull the thread out to make it easier to cut. No bobbin or thread to deal with as it is an all in one system which make this easier to use than my sewing machine. The needle is secure and covered enough to make it safe for her hands. You can not control the stitch speed but so far it seems to go at a good pace for her and there is a "pause" switch to make it stop. There is also a sensor which shuts off when you get to the end of the fabric. I like this mini sewing machine and wish I had one when I was little. I havent bought replacement thread or additional projects kits which may get expensive, but any light weight fabric can be used to sew your own creations.

Was a gift for 8 year old granddaughter. She liked it.

We did not even get to use the product. Trying just to get it set up was a long process that never even got completed. Everything is so tiny it is very difficult to use. The kids lost interest. I was disappointed.

it never worked. I put new batteries in it, but it never would turn on. It is a horrible product. I regret even seeing this item and purchasing it for my sweet grandaughter, she was so sad and disappointed. Thanks so much for breaking my grandaughters heart

Too childish

As an experienced seamstress, I purchased this to help teach my granddaughter the basics of sewing. It did NOT live up to its description. SAVE YOUR MONEY, IT'S NOT WORTH PURCHASING.
