Core Innovations CTP500 Wireless Mini Portable Inkless Thermal Printer & Label Maker + Paper, Android & iOS (Purple)

This is exactly what I expected for $29. Keep an open mind and don’t expect champagne from a beer budget. It’s cute and fun and I am brand new to learning about all this inkless, thermal, portable printing stuff. I bought this out of curiosity and to see what I love and could live without features!

prints only in b%26w. sometimes the app doesn't load my gallery right away and I have to click around or restart the app which, at most takes extra time and effort. all in all though, it does always work and i am impressed with being able to print clear, quality pictures from my cell phone anytime, anywhere. it's something I don't mind showing others and recommending!

I was leery, based on some of the reviews. The app isn't perfect, but if I can figure it out anyone can. Read where people were able to print on first day, but then couldn't later - so I tested on 2 days and had no problems at all. I installed the app on my android tablet (Samsung Tab A9 Model SM-X110, bought in late 2024). Highly recommend for value and size. Will be using this on a vacation with grandkids so they can print out photos each day to paste into their journals.

This little printer is awesome! So easy to use. Was even easier to set up connection to phone. It also comes with a feature that lets you create QR code labels that you can log on the app to put on your moving boxes so all you have to do is scan the QR code to know what’s packed in the box!

I am grateful for this item! It is easy to use and my children love the quick print option! I have created name writing practice sheets for my preschool child and she loved it.

I love the options on the app. I also love that I can create my own image with other platforms and print it out with this device. This makes organizing my home a breeze.

The Core Innovations printer app is limited by restricted editing options within templates, occasional connectivity issues, extra costs for some features, and the need for potentially excessive permissions. While the  InstaPrint app is the official companion for Core Innovations printers, many generic Bluetooth thermal printers share a standard communication protocol, allowing them to work with several popular third-party alternatives. Note: Because these printers are often rebranded versions of generic hardware, compatibility can vary. If an app doesn't recognize your printer immediately, enable Bluetooth in your phone's settings and look for the printer under names like "Mini Printer," "Label Printer," or its model number. 

Basically, you get what you pay for. I spent more time fighting with the janky and unintuitive Chinese software than I did printing anything. The preset options are very limited and the design feature hardly works right and takes more time trying to get it to do what you want then it saves. When I did manage to print anything out comes out pixelated and grainy looking - even when it's just printed text. I'd say this is good for children but not for anything you want to look remotely professional

chsrged printer, then downloaded app. I was so excited to use it. The app was not very easy to use, no instructions on using it, it was just tapping on each icon to try and figure it out. There were tons of images and different templates. But trying to figure out how to add text to the images was so confusing. Then to make things worse, when I went to print, the paper was coming out without an image, blank. Still waiting on response from the company to address my issues with their product. Its a shame, because the printer is compact, 2 rolls of paper, 3 rolls of sticker paper and very reasonable price. Just doesn't print your projects. Tried 4 times and was tiered of wasting paper

easy to use but onlyif u want to print things that are 2 inches by 2 inches. does not work for shipping labels. prints teeny tiny sizes like receipts
