This baby shark children's vacuum toy was much better than I expected. Firstly, it is super cute and definitely kid size, but looks like the real thing. It also sounds like the real thing! There is a button to press to play the “baby shark“ song which is always a big hit. The canister has little sharks inside so when the vacuum is turned on they spin around and the canister lights up. In terms of functionality, it definitely works like a vacuum with kid-size suction power. The suction is very light so kids will not get into any trouble vacuuming up anything other than very small debris. It comes with a lithium battery that is precharged and a micro usb charger cable. The package states battery life at 1.5 hours which seems accurate as we have not had to charge it yet after some good use. Overall, I really like this toy because it has some functionality to it, teaches good cleaning habits by making cleaning fun, and is well-made with some fun features.
I think little kids, 3, 4, 5 years old would live it. I tried it on my own daughter, and she is in cleaning all the house around. She used to get scared every time I used the real vacuum around the house, and now vacuums along with me instead of getting scared of the sound of real vacuum I use, and I find her vacuuming by herself all the time. I like that it is teaching her an important life skill for both girls and boys and that she is enjoying cleaning! Great toy. It has one button and one switch on and off. When it is on, the button on (turns the vacuum on) it has lights, music and the swirling chamber spins where colorful little sharks spin around, the sound is not scary, kids songs. This is a really cute feature. The vacuum is small enough and light enough that it could be used by a younger child with ease. Of course, this still a toy vacuum, so don’t expect your kid to really clean the house with it, the vacuum power is not strong enough to pick up much debris around. This is still a toy. Overall, good gift for a kid
If your child is like mine, then he or she begs to use the vacuum. Now they can have their own fun vacuum that actually works! This vacuum plays "Baby Shark" And lights up. You can turn the lights and music on or off with the touch Of a button. There is real suction power to pick up dirt. It is very easily operated. The size is perfect for little ones. It also comes with a USB charging cord so you can keep the battery charged. My son loves his Pinkfong Baby Shark Vacuum! This would make a great gift for any child especially those who want to clean.
I bought one of these for my granddaughter when she was 2 she is 6 now and still has it and her cousin comes over and he's 2 and gets it every time and loves it so I bought him one also this Christmas he is going to be so happy she was not going to give hers up and I wasn't going to make her.
My kids love this Baby Shark play vacuum! The vacuum has the ability to be turned on just to play the baby shark song, but then you can also turn on the suction, which makes the debris cannister with the baby shark cutouts (made to look like debris that has been vacuumed) start flying around inside the cannister. The box mentions that this vacuum picks up small debris, but I have not experienced this. I do not feel like this accurate as my children play with this all of the time and I have yet to notice any debris inside of actual debris cannister. The vacuum uses a rechargeable lithium battery. You initially hook up the battery and do not have to remove the battery to charge it. The battery is charged by a micro USB charging cord that comes with the vacuum. You plug the cord in above the battery pack and allow it to charge. To achieve a maximum charge, you leave the vacuum plugged in for two hours. I like this feature as it allows you to not have to unscrew the back that is protecting the battery to remove the battery to charge the battery itself. The vacuum is suitable for kids 2+. The handle of the vacuum is adjustable which is beneficial. The vacuum is also lightweight. Again, my children have really enjoyed this vacuum; therefore, I would certainly recommend this vacuum to anybody who is looking for gift ideas for the child(ren) in their lives.
Grandson loves this and he's tickled he gets to Vaccum along side me. The only issue I have is the housing unit for the charger on the Vaccum. It's poorly housed in the Vaccum and already unusable to charge the Vaccum. Very disappointed as it's only been 3 days and now unable to charge due to this issue
My toddler loves this. I hate it. Whoever thought putting Baby Shark on a, very loud, loop with no volume button has some serious issues that can only be resolved through intensive therapy. My daughter loves nothing more than turning the music on, and letting it play on loop, while she goes and plays elsewhere. The song never turns off. Ever. Until she decides to turn it off. Which she doesn't. If I go to turn it off she immediately turns it back on, before going about her business. The actual vacuuming function is cool, but she never uses it. I had to put Baby Shark on the TV so I could hide the vacuum without her dissolving into inconsolable grief. She's had it for two hours. I regret everything. Five stars if you're a kid. Two if you're the parent.
Stopped working after the first day and won’t charge, randomly turns on when no one is near it but won’t actually work when you want it to. Not worth the money. Hopefully able to fix it as me 1.5 yr old loves it but I’m very disappointed. It did however suck things up!
I've been trying to find ways of charging this stupid vacuum since January. I've tried multiple chargers and tried moving the charger around and nothing. It's like once you get it and the battery dies it's done and worthless. I wish i could just replace the batteries.
This thing is junk!! Do not buy!! My son loved it and the metal thing that you plug your charger in to charge it fell out and the thing stops working all the time and now I can’t even charge it and he has only had it since Christmas! Save your money and buy something else!
