The stepstool is the perfect height for our 2 1/2 yo and 1 1/2 yo grandchildren to help at the island in the kitchen. The 4 yo brother tried to climb on it but it was not as sturdy and stable with his weight. We purchased 2 of them, so there was no fighting:) The stools do take up some room in the area so the adults have to be willing to share space, but the children were thrilled to help Nana, watch cooking and play on the island while food was prepared. The only drawback could be that the "circles" in the sides of the stool could become very dirty quickly with spilled food and that would be hard to clean. However, the grandchildren were here for only a week and the stools stayed clean. We will see how clean the stools stay during the next visit!

Outstanding Stool !! All of the parts are very sturdy and the feet have excellent grip. Assembly was very simple and instructions easy to follow. The materials used are high quality. Our toddler only needs the base which may be used without the upper section.

This product is a game changer for parents and children. It took about 10 minutes to assemble and my grandson couldn't wait to climb up. He moves it around the kitchen to get his snacks or to come near me as I am doing dishes. It gives him a sense of accomplishment when he can climb up to do something on his own.

My grandson loves this kitchen helper. It is easy for him to climb onto and to climb down. He loves standing in it to help me cook and it is also his favorite place to eat - sometimes standing and other times sitting on the stool at the bottom. My daughter has 2 different wooden ones, but this is the one that works best for us.

Great sturdy stool! Works great as a kitchen helper and a bathroom sink stool. Can also flip it around to use the bottom step for a toddler to use the big toilet.

Got this for my 4 year old son to help out in the kitchen. So easy to put together my son even helped. Since he is a little bigger we did without the metal bar. My 9 and 4 year old both use it and don't have any problems.

Purchased this so my parents didn't have to lift my 64lb 2 yo nephew up to wash his hands or lift him into the bed or to his chair to eat. It's worked wonders and glad I bought it.

The only the thing that I dislike is that it has a honeycomb design on the inside part of the sides that catch food and spills, making it very difficult to keep clean. I would have liked it to have a smooth surface all around to make the cleanup simple and thorough.

Definitely not sturdy or heavy enough for a toddler. My two year old tried climbing this and it fell over onto him several times. Assembly was fine but it does require a screw driver. Disappointed and returning.
