I love the simple quality and look of these bowls. I've used Correlle dinnerware for many years. Its lightweight, durable, can use in microwave, and gets clean perfectly in the dishwasher. I want to get the entire set of frost white dinnerware, just have to wait for my budget to let me do that.
You can't go wrong with Corelle dishes... light weight vitriol glass, not heavy ceramic or plastic. The 18oz bowl is a useful size. Sturdy and easy care. Most patterns are available in open stock for when you need extra pieces, but don't want to buy a full set. I have pieces of other brands of ceramic and porcelain dishes, but they are heavy and easy to break. Corelle is my most favorite of all dishware.
My Corelle Winter Frost White dishes are the best. They go with anything so over the years I have been able to change colors without having to buy new dishes. These Corelle Winter Frost White 18 oz Soup Bowls are not only microwave and dishwasher safe, but they are rated safe for oven use up to 350°F (175°C). They are an exact match to the ones I bought over 20 years ago. This makes it easy to expand my set anytime I want to! I do not think they will ever go out of style. The Corelle Winter Frost White dishes were first introduced in 1970 as part of the original launch of the durable, triple-layer Vitrelle glass dinnerware line. It is one of the longest-running, "active" status patterns, remaining popular for its minimalist design since its debut.
I bought my original Corelle Winter Frost White complete dinner set of dishes about 40 years ago. All of those dishes are still unchipped and still have that gleaming clean finish. We needed more bowls to add to this set, and I was so happy to find that these dishes are still being made. These new bowls match and stack perfectly with the old ones I bought years ago. My old Corelle dishes were made in the USA, and these new bowls are still made in the USA. So, I'm very, very happy with the quality of Corelle dishes and that they are still made in the USA!!! Win-Win!!!
Corelli Winter Frost has always been a great place setting for everyday use and style. Corelli 18oz bowl is great for soup, salad, cereal or anything else needing a bowl for a nice size single serving
It's the perfect size for a bowl of cereal. Corelle is a quality brand that I love. This bowl will last a lifetime.. I still use the plates that I purchased more than 20 years ago. Must buy.
I own the set. I love them. We drop a lot of things in this house and these have never even chipped. My husband, to my chagrin, has even put them in the oven to heat something up. Again, no issues. If you buy you will love them.
I've had the winter white dishes for years. They last a long time but years of using dishwasher can make them brittle so they break when dropped. Every few years I top up when Walmart has sale.
Pleased with these Corelle bowls. Displeased that not önce dpninever get a complete order shipped. Once again second part of the shipment - this time another Corelle product listed as in stock went awry. Site shows itembto be delivered with the target date that has passed so i cancelled the order for a prompt refund
I have used Corelle since the Seventies. Unfortunately, because of lead I had to toss all my non-vitrelle, pre-2015 Corelle dishes. These replacement bowls are great, except for the glazing. The bowls feel like the grit/dust was not removed before glazing, so the bowls feel like food is stuck on them when washing. I bought eighteen in packs of six or six singles at three different times. Over half have the gritty bottoms. Otherwise, the bowls are Corelle quality and the white color is perfect.
