Must have knot tool
This tool can be used in multiple ways. The knot tyer is most useful to knot and attach line to backing. Easy to keep hook in one place. Easy to add leader to line and also there is information online on how to really use the knot tool.

Knot tyer for fly fishing.
Fly fishing knit tyer. Does what it is supposed to do. Price was right. It makes life easier to join line together and make loops.

OK for the money
Probably worth the money. Metal tip was bent - unsure whether that was intentional or not - but that is unlikely to keeping it from performing its intended purpose. The main thing lacking was any sort of use instructions.

The Knot Tyer may be somewhat stainless, because it's painted silver, but it is NOT stainless steel.
