After many years away from fishing, I am beginning again. I was once an avid fly fisherman. I tied my own flies and was quite particular with my tackle. I plan to mainly fly fish for panfish and easily caught fish for the time being. I thought about ordering tapered leaders, but for my immediate purpose, a light, level leader is fine. Thus, my purchase. I have examined a short length of this spool and it was as I expected. If you need a simple, usable, light length of leader between fly line and fly (for uncultured fish), the price is right. I would recommend it.

Fishing line
We did not use this for fishing line. We needed to attach a chlorine ball to our hot tub and this fishing line worked perfectly. It is very strong!
