The magnetic feature of this is what made it a must have for my husband. I found this to be the most affordable item with the quality we were looking for.

This is a great quality fishing net release. The magnet is strong and the spring is great. Also The Cortland wooden net is perfect to match this great quality product. If you're fly fishing I recommend getting all the gear to make your fishing day easier and I recommend all Cortland products. They are awesome at a great price.

Worked as expected

The magnet and cord is fine but the carabiner is flimsy and the spring inside broke before I got it on the net. I was able to bypass the carabiner and just attach one split ring to the net and the other to my vest. It works fine this way so I would recommend just doing lol away with the carabiner.

Great item. Really like how it easily releases your net when landing fish. I also figured out you can adjust the length of the cord using the o-ring to make your net hang higher if needed.

Best way to keep you net handy... The magnet also works great with staffs or other larger tools!

Great magnet, the rest of it is junk. It will not hold a net up!
