COSCO 1-Step Plastic Folding Step Stool, Type 1A (Black and Gray)

What a great little stool. I bought this specifically to get into my best friend's truck. Being a short individual (5'2") I had a heck of a time getting into the truck. I found this stool to be a God send. The stool is extremely sturdy, doesn't wobble or give at all. It's really easy to just pop open and closed and the rubber feet keep it from slipping away. When I'm not with him, we simply tuck it under the back seat until the next time. I highly recommend this stool for those of us who need a few more inches height wise.

I was expecting something less robust, to be honest, but I recognize the Cosco brand as I have one of their hand-carts (which are also excellent). So, I took a chance on this and it is a perfect step boost for a variety of uses - in the kitchen to reach higher shelves, loading the back end of my pickup truck (especially when it is backwards on our inclined driveway) or even getting into our king bed which has a thick mattress and the added height helps me get into bed easily. Many uses and its portability is another great feature. I recommend and would buy again!

I purchased this so a 96-year-old woman could get in and out of my Ford expedition Max. He had to work very well as a stable step because it is sturdy as well as easy to open and close. Initially, I was concerned that the steps surface might be a bit small, but it seems to be exactly what we needed.

I bought this to be a footrest under my desk as I work from home. It's a little tall for that purpose, but I can make it work. I was impressed at how sturdy it feels while being lightweight. The top is rubbery and very textured so slipping is unlikely, but you might trip from all the grip. It folds and unfolds very well and feels very secure when properly fastened. I didn't expect it to be so nice, but I'm glad it is.

I like this little stool, and it was perfect for my needs. It's reasonable sturdy, though all foldable stools are less sturdy than non-folding stools. It is easy to assemble and break down. I like the size, because it slips under the bed easily. I'd definitely buy it again.

This will become your favorite footstool! If you are of short stature, the height is perfect for lifting your feet up nearer to your seat at the dinner table, allowing good spine posture. There is Nothing to assemble. Just snap open the two legs, then push the stabilizer guard underneath until it snaps into place to hold the legs open. It has stability, so you can stand on top of it on a level surface without any wobble, and it is very lightweight to move from place to place. There are rubber feet pads on the leg bottoms so it can slide across wood floors or tile without leaving marks. If this is the size you are looking for, I hope you will be as pleased to use it as I am.

Definitely a great footstool. It out beats the others by miles. It's sturdy. It snaps into place and locks so you KNOW you are safe and it isn't going to buckle under you. It isn't going to slide under you and has great foot traction. It's also nice for people with big feet. Nice and wide. The one thing I do with it had was a handle to carry it when it is open but it's not a deal breaker for sure. I can't say enough how solid this is. So many of the others seem flimsy but this footstool means business!

This stool is very well-made. It's made from thick plastic, has grippy rubber feet, and locks securely into position. I'd buy a 12" high if they made it.

over all this is pretty flimsy. it advertised holding up to 300 pounds, but I don't trust it after seeing how flimsy the center support piece is. hight is just right for basic needs for us short folks. would recommend spending more on a better quality, can't recommend this

After using this product for a few months, I wouldn't recommend it. The price and easy setup is why it got 4 stars. But guys, it's not sturdy!! I have to stand at an angle. I'm 5 feet, 140lbs, and if I stand how I normally would on a stool, it feels like it's gonna cave in the middle! I literally have to stand on both edges. I expected better from this brand. It feels dangerous to stand on this, but I needed it in a pinch. So I don't stand on it for long. It definitely doesn't hold as much weight as it boasts (300lbs). It's probably up to 100lbs or maybe 120lb.
