A little expensive but tastes great

We purchase this product specifically for our grandsons who are now teenagers. We're always trying to provide them with nutritious snack choices and this is one of their favorites.

Ordered directly as my local market stop carrying these.. These are awesome and a great addition for me as I'm on the go and travel quite a bit. Especially like the no sugar.

I use this for quick snacks to control diabetes blood sugar levels. They are easy to use, usually easy to open, and gives a low-glycemic snack of protein when I need it.

The mini beef sticks which my family normally loves was a bit greasy this shipment. I will continue ordering them hoping it was just an isolated incident. Normally they are fresh tasting and delicious

Even 6 months ago I would've given this product 5 stars, now the quality has gone so downhill that it is no longer edible. I have bought country archer beef sticks for years and now they changed the product to be completely different. The old beef sticks were fantastic and the new ones have a far more unappetizing texture. While the spice does not bother me, I will agree with everyone else that says they have gotten spicier. The old recipe was far superior and I hope that the company will change it back to what it was. I will not continue buying it until it has changed back because now they taste extremely cheap and processed- like the company is using spices to hide the bad quality of their product. The texture used to be that of beef jerky and now it has a soft texture like baby food. And why are they orange now?? I fear that Slim Jims even have a better texture than these. I am so heartbroken because I loved the old product.

The beef sticks are a strange color and are very off putting. I still tried it since they were so expensive and they did not taste good. What a waste of money.

I bought both the Archer Beef mini sticks, and the Turkey mini sticks this morning at publix. I noticed that there were lots of the beef sticks on the shelf, and only two of the turkey. I purchased one of each, and tried them at home. * The turkey mini sticks are delicious, and seasoned just right. The texture and mouth feel is excellent. * The beef mini sticks, however, are awful. The texture is unpleasant. They are over seasoned with who knows what. This was unexpected, after trying the turkey sticks. I am not biased against beef. I like all kinds of meat. Archer should get some independent consumer evaluations of their Beef mini sticks, and make the appropriate recipie changes.

The new sticks are awful. The texture is gross. Why would you change a good thing. No longer purchasing this brand. No longer worth the price.

I loved these when they were in the blue bag! They had the perfect spice and texture. The newer version, the one in the black/grey bag are awful! They are very flavorless with a mushy texture. They taste like dog food. I'm upset that I bought so many bags. Bring back the old recipe!
