This lip stain is my never-fail, always performs, favorite, best friend, stand out lip product! If you put it on correctly it will stay All Dayy. Might even be there in the morning, if you don’t exfoliate before bed. Make sure your lips are clean and dry. All the way clean. No residue from anything. Get a magnifying mirror and a good light. Withdraw the applicator wand, make sure it has a decent-but-not-too-much amount of product on it, scraping into the tube if there’s too much. (After a few uses you will figure out the right amount!) Apply to all parts of your lips at the same time, just go around quick to spread it out. Now start drawing and shaping the edges. You are going to blot, so push the lip stain that’s thick on your lips to the edges and draw borders quickly. If you draw “outside the lines” you can quickly wipe it with a dry tissue and firm pressure. If it sets or dries, don’t try to remove it without makeup remover, as this will make a mess. The whole process of drawing the edges should take about 30 seconds, and now you need to blot firmly onto 2-ply tissue. It will probably stick to your lips, and that’s ok, just let it dry there. Now ou need to keep our lips apart and let the lip stain set for a minute or so. After it is set, if you have a bit of tissue stuck to your lip it will come off with a splash of water, or just get your finger wet and wipe the tissue off. Now you can apply the glossy top coat, or leave your lips matte. You can even choose to use carmex or chapstick. The lip stain will stay put unless it gets oily and friction, either by rubbing with a cotton ball and facial oil (or coconut oil, jojoba oil, makeup remover, etc.), or by eating food with oils or fats in it and the lips experience friction, like they get rubbed on a napkin, straw, or fork or just by touching your sandwich. Trust me. If I took this much time to type a review, it must be a pretty worthy cosmetic product!!
I have worn this brand for 20 yrs. and love that it stays on my lips and off my cup, nor does it bleed around my mouth or get on my teeth. It doesnt dry my lips out like other brands I have tried. Even aftee having my lips permanently tattooed I enjoy the bold color I can achieve with Cover Girl Outlast!
I absolutely love this lipstick I painted on at 12 hours later it still looks beautiful.. I have found I won't buy anything else love your product love the color love giving my lips a little bit of extra without having to use a liner..
I’ve used this lipstick for many, many years! It is ABSOLUTELY the best lipstick ever! I don’t have to constantly be concerned about reapplying. I typically only have to apply once a day, unless I eat something with butter or oil, then twice. So easy and convenient! I will continue with this lipstick always!
I absolutely love this color. And this lipstick line is a great dupe for lipsense. Not exact but close. Awesome top coat.
This is my favorite lip stick. I will only buy this brand and color. It really works like they say it works . I love it and hope they never stop selling it. It's pretty and awesome.
Love this lipstick. I have such bad luck with lipsticks, with them being drying. I’ve tried them all. This lipstick has the base coat and a moisturizing top coat - not drying at all, and long-lasting.
I ordered Natural Blush shade and after reading lots of reviews I expected it to be a much lighter color than what it is. Even people with pictures in their reviews showing their lipstick claiming it was natural blush is not at ALL what my Natural Blush looks like. See the pictures attached for reference color. Wear was about 6 hours, through eating dinner and drinking my water bottle throughout the six hours then the dogs trying to lick it off once home lol. It has a slightly fruity scent when first taking the wand out of the color to apply it but that dissipates quickly and it did not have a taste. It’s much darker than I expected so I’m going to try and order another color and hopefully it will be the right shade next time. The gloss stick is nicely moisturizing and not horribly overly glossy and the moisture did last almost the full 6 hours.
I got 130 Rosie. it looks like a pretty nude-ish pink color in the picture here. I got it and it's fully purple like deer meat or a human organ or something...I didn't even need to put it on to see that it looked nothing like a "Rosie" but much more like what MAUVE MUSE looks like on here. but it's definitely 130 Rosie, it just looks nothing like the picture. fully purple. I hate it and I'll never wear it. the Dusty Blush color is nice, I bought that in store and it's decent enough, pertaining to the shade.
I've bought this lipstick 3x, 3 different shades. one in store and the other 2 I ordered here online. the 2 I bought online BOTH are not anywhere close to the shade shown on the pictures. it's literally false advertising. I bought "130 Rosie" first on here and it was full raw deer meat purple, I thought it was just a fluke and I tried another. this time(pictured) I ordered "555 blossom berry" this time. tell me how this is the same shade advertised in any way shape or form. this is the second time I've had this happen in a row. This is the deepest purple ever. they should just call this lipstick line "the purple problem by covergirl". my advice is to go in the store and look at the tube yourself and don't order online because it's the definition of false advertising. idk why they'd do this but the shades arent even close to advertised. if you notice, the majority of the reviews here are people who have gotten the lipstick from a gift box, they didn't get to choose their shade, so there was no expectation of what it should look like. I believe this lipstick would have about 3 stars if it wasn't for all those promotional reviews. and this picture is after I've wiped it 3x trying to lighten it so it doesn't even do it justice of how dark it is.
