This is about the experience, not high performance. Definitely the family enjoyed and will continue to enjoy!

The price was the best I found online. I am basing the other two ratings on past experience with the same product. It is a gift, so I can't rate the one delivered directly.

The box was torn but I understand it was in store and things were selling out due to the holidays. It was taped up enough to be presentable.

This is entertaining fir me and I am past 60. Snoopy turns on top of the ice cube and shaves it down to a fine powdery Ice. It has all the cute things like the shovel and the squeeze bottle to pour your choice of flavors. Read the directions about how to mix the flavor packages. It doesn’t take much with water. I had such high hopes for this nostalgic piece. I remember playing with the Snoopy Sno-Cone machine back in the day, but unfortunately this version had some hiccups. First it took a while, and I mean A WHILE, to get enough ice shaved for an adequate serving. Second, the “shaver” is sort of flimsy and kept moving. And third, it doesn’t come with enough cups. Overall, it could be fun for the younger crowd, but only for a one or two times use.

It's super cute. We had one as kids so I wanted this one. This one appears to be weaker than the one we had as kids. It's hard to turn and feels very flimsy while doing so. You can use other ice cubes besides the ones they tell you to make in the mold, but just like the little ice molds, it's still very hard to turn. To make it easier, you pretty much have to crush the ice into smaller chunks. The nostalgia is great, the actual usage of the item isn't.

This machine isbneither easy to use or fun. You have to use these tiny containers to freeze water in, and the contraption to shred is hard to use and the yield is so bot worth it. The tiny cups they give you to freeze the water in are so tiny so you have to make a lot of them ahead of time. you can ONLY use this size mold of ice. Once you put the ice in, and press down the top to use the handle, it wont work inless you have it pwrfectly lines which is almost impossivle to figure iut. Once you so it is very tiring!! Once you get it to work the slot that releases the ice into the cup is so off centered and the cup is so tiny not only does it barely catch the ice it's way too small. (cheat code prop the whole contraption on top of a larger bowl. still will take forever to get a decent snow cone but you won't be sitting there trying to get it into this tiny cup) Just buy an electric one. This is a waste of yime and money.

This machine wasn't worth my $20. Of course it is advertised as "manual" so you do have to wind it in order to shave the ice which is not the issue at all. My problem is with the spoonful of ice it fits in the machine in order to shave at a time. I guess if it's for a 2 year old then maybe that's enough but it's just not worth only being able to shave a spoon full of ice at a time. I just purchased a machine that is an electric automatic ice shaver that turns an entire heaping tall glass full of ice into soft powdered fluffy snow in 1-2 seconds for the same price at this weak piece of plastic so I will be taking this back to the store for a return.

I bought this as some fun for the kids at my daughters birthday and what a disappointment it was it doesn’t grind hardly at all and it’s extremely hard to grind what little bit you can get out of it..she’s six so you can just imagine how upset she was
