Dippin' Dots Frozen Dot Maker

What I like must was seeing my 7 y/o granddaughter's face when she unwrapped it Christmas day. Her face lit up with the biggest smile as she yelled "Dots" "I just love it!"

Got this for my daughter for Christmas. She loves it. We tried 2 different kinds of dots.

I wasn't sure if i should've put 4 or 5 stars. This frozen Dippin Dot maker comes with NO FLAVORS. In a way, that's a good thing because they realize they can't come close to making Dippin Dots flavors. My son absolutely loved making different mixes of drinks he loves and putting them in the freezer. We didn't have any messes in the freezer because these trays fit perfectly together. You can't overfill and cause a "freezer explosion" because these are made of soft material that can expand. Excellent gift. Just don't be surprised that there's no flavors included. Hand wash suggested.

This is more of a flavored ice maker than ice cream dipping dots. If you're lookin for the ice cream dipping dots maker, this isn't it. Go to youtube and see how to make it.

The age is appropriate and I don't know how else you would design what you're trying to achieve. Pieces are cheap plastic, so the quality is mediocre at best. This should've been a Black Friday deal for $5-$10. Instead, I paid $20 - yikes!

Honestly it's like the molding for dipping dots. Doesn't come with anything to make them more less to freeze your favorite soda's etc.

It basically makes little round ice. Nothing spectacular. We have only used it twice in two months since I gave it to the kids for Christmas. It's kinda of messy. The second time, we used orange and cola sodas and put the little frozen "dots" in icecream, but my kids were not impressed.

Dots are hard to remove. They are essentially mini ice cubes of juice. Not at all like Dipping Dots kids love.

Does not come with any flavors and the balls are bigger than dipping dots. My daughter only played with it twice .

Pointless. Comes with a bunch of stuff you don't really need or want. The only thing you really need are the molds, but I'm sure you could find those on Amazon and spend less money.
