These just arrived in the mail and I’m so pleasantly surprised! They are nice and thick, perfect 100% cotton towels for embroidery! They were delivered super fast too!
Haven't been able to find these, so I was so excited when I saw them. They were a necessity when I was growing up for the kitchen, gardening, working on mowers, tractors and cars. I am delighted I found them again. And they are larger than the ones we would buy at K-mart many moons ago.
If you have flour sack towels, you don’t need anything else in your kitchen. They are absorbent and even when wet can pick up a lot more moisture. Easy to ring out and dry quickly. From soapy wash water to cleaning the stove back into the soapy wash water, and the rag is clean. That’s the beauty of a sack cloth. Another old-school item that is very well worth it . Too many towels really don’t absorb very well these do! any liquid and then easily clean no matter what you’ve picked up, from coffee to cherry juice.
these are nice quality flour sack towels, larger size than i expected. made in usa and prewashed though I rewashed on a sanitize cycle as we use them in a basket on our table to wrap up rolls and bread to help keep warm and covered. washed very well. Great product.
Just what I wanted. As a child my mother used this material to make dresses etc for my sister and I. I am now 87 yrs old and back in the early days this cloth had prints in color as well as the white I just bought as Kitchen towels. THNX
Doesn't every kitchen have these. I think I still have the first ones I bought but as they age they are good 'soft' rags! All my biscuits and rolls are wrapped in these to serve in a nice bowl on the table. And, of course, I cover items on the counter with them since they allow food to breathe!
Great towel! Perfect for making roll cakes and drying glasses with no lint
I used this to make a pumpkin roll. It worked well—there was no lint. I would’ve liked to buy only one, but came in a two pack. All in all a good buy.
It's not quite like the real flour sacks that held flour many years ago. My Grandmother gave me a set of seven, one for each day of the week, that she had embroidered decades ago. I only have one left. I want to do the same, but I haven't found any of the right texture and quality. These look and feel close. Time will tell.
I read the items description before i check out it said 100% cotton the reason why i bought it couz my daughter have an allergy with polyester so shes allowed to used 100% cotton only advice by our allergist but guess what when i receive the items it said 97% cotton and 3% polyester so we cant used it. Grrrrrrr what im gonna do with this even if its 1% polyester its still gonna harm affect to my daughter skin please next time be honest
