Crayola Anti-Dust White Chalk

TL;DR: Writes clean, minimal dust, and works well for sensitive households. I ordered this for my 6-year-old and have been very happy with how it’s worked out. It writes smoothly and clearly, and the low-dust design really makes a difference. In our house we have to be extra mindful of respiratory triggers, and this chalk has been much more comfortable to use than regular chalk. There’s far less mess in the air and on surfaces, which makes cleanup easier too. It’s been great for learning activities without the usual chalk cloud. Overall, this has been a solid choice and something I feel good about keeping on hand.

I read that it could absorb odors. Under my kitchen sink has a slight stale smell that I detest. I used that DAMP stuff that absorbs moisture and you throw it away but I hated that smell too. The chalk is terrific. It is inexpensive (Love that) and I had forgotten about it until I did this review today. I went to check and realized why I forgot about it...there is no smell Melody

I bought this to draw on fabric/upholstery and it works just fine. It was the least expensive chalk I could find since I only needed 1 piece. Can't speak to the dust because iI used it on fabric.

Product was fine for the most part. only thing i didn't like was that during the shipment process it seems the box ended up opening and all the chalk spilled into the parcel, resulting in some broken pieces. all in all it's good for a pinch, but if you had a choice maybe spring for something better.

Just got the chalk today. Was very unhappy with how they were packed. They were tossed in a mailing bag lose. So a lot of the chalk was broken. I feel if the shipper would have put these boxes in another box or at least used bubble wrap then there would have been less broken chalk sticks. I ordered 5 boxes of the white chalk and after taking them out was able to make 2 boxes of unbroken chalk sticks. The other broken pieces made up the other 3 boxes :( . Very unhappy about the loss. I will not be ordering any more chalk on line. Along with the white chalk I order some colored chalk that did fare much better in losing one box out of the 4 of them. Anyway order at your own risk if you want school chalk. ( to the seller : Use bubble wrap on these boxes to protect them during delivery. People will be so much happier to get chalk that isn't broken in tiny pieces.)

The chalk is great, HOWEVER, ordering chalk to be delivered is NOT wise. You will get a box of 1" pieces or less because they were all shattered. I would think they could have placed this in something besides an ENVELOPE to travel somewhat safely through the mail, but I got something that more closely resembled talcum powder than chalk.... Do NOT order through mail if you want large pieces of chalk!

The box arrived but the chalk was in more pieces than Humpty Dumpty. Why it’s not carried in a Supercenter is beyond thought. They carry chalkboards but not chalkboard chalk. Don’t order unless you need dust

I'm very disappointed want a return of my money all chalk was broke and thrown on floor didn't even consider what could be in bag

The chalk is fine I’m sure but they delivered it in a bag and the chalk came out of the chalk box and it all got crushed in the bag.

The chalk product is totally fine and I have used this brand consistently. The reason for this 1 star review is the regarding the condition of the item from shipping. Unfortunately the small box of chalk was shipped in a very large box. When I opened the box, chalk dust was everywhere, broken chalk in box etc. If a large box had to be used, if it would have at least contained packing material to hold the small box intact this could have been avoided. I will purchase again but wait until the chalk is back in stock in the actual store. Thanks
