Quartet Little Giant Chalkboard Eraser

I help granddaughters do their homework assignments. We have to do alot of erasing, so this eraser comes in really handy.

I am very pleased with the eraser I recently ordered.

It does the job!

It works. We haven't had any problems with it except that it's much larger than the one it replaced and thus not good for little hands. That would normally be fine, but it leaves me the only one that wipes the chalkboard. That means the chalkboard gets used with less enthusiasm. Oh well. I can't blame the eraser - it's good. It's just not perfect for US.

Little Giant is a decent eraser for the price. I use it on the chalkboard once a week to track my pregnancy and it cleans it up well. I've only had it for a week but it does what it needs to do for now. Not sure how it will be in the long run.

The quantity that I wanted was not feasible for shipping. I wanted to order a quantity of 2-4 packs, but Walmart would only allow for 1-4 pack to be shipped.

I sanded down an interior panel of a pantry door and painted it with chalkboard paint. Followed directions on can to a T. Primed and painted 4 coats and used a foam roller for a smooth finish. Chalkboard works great, but this eraser doesnt erase anything on the board worth a darn, just smears the chalk all over. I usually end up using a damp rag and the chalkboard comes perfectly clean. To be fair, the eraser may not be intended for chalkboard paint. At the price I paid it is no big loss (thus the 4 stars for value), but I wouldnt recommend it for chalkboard paint.

I have to really put some "elbow-grease" into it to get the board erased enough, but even then, it leaves a "film" of evenly redistributed chalk dust rather than actually erasing anything. I have to go back over it with a towel every time. This is a really low-quality eraser; buy something else.
