I bought this kit last year to do some projects with my kids, and I went to look for some new powders or tablet refills for this year and couldn't believe the price! They were so expensive and I wasn't going to buy like, 7 different bottles of color from the big brand. I ended up buying this kit again, because it was the best price I could find with the variety of colors. They've barely faded from the shirts we dyed and they're just so convenient with the bottles. Highly recommend!

This is a great little product for a fun afternoon. It comes with eveyrthing you need. Just fill the bottles with water and away you go. Definitely do it outside or something. It does come with a covering but best to be careful.

Great kit for tie dying . We tie dyed 5 kids shirts and only used up about 6 of the colors. Plenty more for more shirts. The colors were great %26 the kids had a fun time with the activity.

I love to create beautiful things around the house and my own clothes as well as gifts for Great Grandkids. With this kit it's easy for the kids to create items too with out the mess of regular tie dying process. I will buy again all summer long.

I had been thinking about buying the Create Basics Tie-Dye Tub for quite a while but kept putting it off. When it finally went on sale, I decided to give it a try, and I'm glad I did. The kit was very easy to use, and the colors turned out bright and vibrant. Everything was organized nicely, and I especially like that the tub itself can be used to store the supplies before and during the project. One tip I would give is to wipe down the dye bottles with a damp paper towel before you start. Even though you may not be able to see it, there can be a little dye powder on the outside of the bottles. Taking a minute to wipe them off can help prevent accidentally getting color where you don't want it and potentially messing up your project. My only real suggestion for improvement would be to include two bottles of each color. Once the dye is mixed with water, it doesn't keep very long, so the bottles are basically one-time use. Having extra bottles would make it easier to save unused dye powder for another project. That said, this kit still goes a long way. My kids had a great time making tie-dye shirts, and we were able to make multiple shirts from a single box. Overall, it's a fun, easy-to-use kit with great colors, and I'd definitely buy it again.

it was a fun little project. the dye bottles were not large enough to get a decent saturation. I liked the all in one kit, but didn't use the glitter or rhinestones.

Decent price, was on sale. Not the best overall compared to other brands I have tried. The lids leak on the bottles. Not the cap/spout part, but the rim around the lid which is annoying when you grab the bottle and you have to constantly wipe your gloves because you don't want all these random splotches on your white shirt. The dye is not as vibrant after washing compared to others either. I did like the rubberbands that came with the set.

I let it sit for 24 hours and almost immediately on rinsing under cold water you could see how faded it was. once it was washed a LOT of color came out, super sad.

Used it for a bday party. The colors completely washed out the next day when rinsed, back to white. The color did not stay at all! (Never had that happen with tie dye) do not recommend.
