My boyfriend repaired a super old lamp with this entire kit. He said it was easy and it looked pretty straight forward. I’m super happy with how it turned out.

I wish there had been clearer assembly instructions. I dis- assembled the old unit to determine how to put the new parts together.

Needed to replace the lamp wiring on a vintage lamp we inherited from my in-laws. This was exactly what I needed. I'd never run wired for a lamp before, but it was easy enough to figure out. I removed one star only because the ribbing on the neutral wire was hard to see. Can't beat the price!

I really like the overall look of the socket the cord etc except the cord is identical on both sides so you cannot tell which one is ribbed and which one is smooth meaning hot and negative to rewire the lamp and they're both dipped with silver on the tip so it makes absolutely no sense very confusing and I'm most likely going to just throw it away and it's a waste of time and money

Unfortunately I was sent the wrong kit. I ordered the silver with a clear cord. Was sent gold with white cord. This will not work for my project. Not worth returning so I ordered what I needed. My Walmart account confirmed I ordered the correct part. I ordered another part at the same time and it was correct. The kits are good quality and I will use this company again.
