My young ones love this garden. They had fun painting the planter. Planting the 'magic' beans requires a lot of patience but once the plants get start they take off like crazy! I was very surprised how beautiful and healthy the leaves were. This is a fun project for the entire family!

What fun this activity was! My 2 1/2 year old grandson and I worked on this together. He enjoyed painting the pot and planting the beans. Our beans haven't sprouted yet but we will enjoy checking them every day until they do! I love that this kit is not only fun and creative but it teaches children a lifelong lesson about growing plants. Win-win-win!!

I love this Magic Bean Garden. I tried to get my 4 year old son to paint the pot, he did some of it. The paint is very permanent. He got it on the table and it won't come off. There is a warning in the instructions about this. The beans are huge! I like how the instructions indicate what kind of beans they are. It also states that you can move them outdoors. It gets quite big. The beans are growing and it still has the message on it. The soil seems to be growing mold though. I must've overwatered it. It still is a very cool set for kids.

This is an awesome craft/experiment for your little gardener. We love it. Only thing is, we haven't had the seeds planted long enough for them to sprout. Love the pretty colored pebbles. Paint your own pot makes a great sentimental keepsake. Hoping this will encourage my kids to love green beans. :)

This is a really cool product! My kids were so excited to plant the beans and watch them grow. And it's really neat that they have little quotes on them. Plus it teaches my kids how to garden and take care of plants. So I'm definitely pleased and highly recommend!

I had so much fun with this, with my daughter. She loves arts and crafts and this was a fun little craft to do. We can not wait until it grows into magic beans. It was a lot of fun. The details of the items are excellent. I am very satisfied with this project.

This magic bean growing kit was a very fun activity to do with my children. My kids are ages 8 and 4, and they absolutely loved painting the pot together. To be honest, I loved it too because they didn't fight and argue whenever they were painting it! They decided on this design, a rainbow. You can virtually do whatever you want, so that is great that it lets the kids get creative! The instructions are every clear, and my 8 year old actually read it himself and did step by step with little supervision from me. The pot dried in just hours, and we were ready to plant the beans! My kids check on this daily and are really looking forward to when the magic beans appear. Right now, we are still waiting for them to sprout. This is day number 4 and we are currently still waiting for them to grow, but it's a fun time teaching my kids patience and letting them know the process of planting and growing a plant. They absolutely cannot wait until the magic words appear and we are checking daily! I realize we are on the lower end of the time of growth, and also currently it is winter so it's colder outside (the instructions advice says it might take longer for colder atmospheres). We do keep the pot indoors, however, next to a well light window. This was so much fun to do with my children and continues to be so! I would recommend.

Creativity for Kids Grow Your Own Magic Bean Garden I was not expecting such a beautiful plant to grow from these beans! They grow like crazy once planted ! Absolutely gorgeous healthy leaves- we will be repotting it soon to see how big it will get. A really fun and awesome experiment to do with my granddaughter! Doesn't require alot of maintenance... It's a fun craft to do with your kid and will be something u can keep and not end up throwing out eventually... Very pleased with this..... Yes we recommend this ... The Creativity for Kids Grow Your Own Magic Bean Garden is a fun kit. It includes everything you need to grow beans and has a couple of fun perk! First, it has paint pots and a brush to creatively customize the pot. Next, it has colorful sand to put on the top of your planting. The beans have etched messages making it fun when they come out of the soil and grow. The kit includes the pot, paint and brush, 3 beans with message on them, soil and the little bags of stones/sands. This is a nice mix of science and art for the perfect STEAM project for your crafty and creative nature living kids.

This Magic Bean Garden didn't work. The directions are very simple and straight forward. You paint the plastic pot. This was a fun activity that my kids enjoyed. Then you put the dirt in the pot. Then you plant the seeds just below the top level of dirt. The directions say to water the soil until excess water drains from the bottom of the pot. I did this. Then you let it sit by a window, and there should be growth in 3-10 days. We followed these directions and nothing grew. I put more water on it to keep it more moist. After about 7 days now one is starting to peek up out of the soil. So 3 weeks in total now, and all I have is what is in the picture, just barley starting to see one grow. I think the directions should say that you need to water it more than just the first time. The soil needs to stay more than just moist. We'll see if more growth happens in the next week, but I'm not optimistic. I did not give a poor rating because it is possible that my seeds were just bad or we didn't water them correctly. The kit comes with 3 seeds with a word on one side and picture on the other. It's a cute idea, ours just didn't grow.
