The mint was not so overpowering but left a pleasant fresh taste in my breath. I tend to have sensitive gums and felt my mouth was soothed after about 10 days use. Also, I found that you only need a small amount to clean and refresh your teeth and gums.

The package stands out with the colors & design which draws your attention to it on the store shelving. It isn't too much & it's not lacking either; it will appeal to anyone. Once you open the tube, the first thing you notice is the ease of it to dispense from the tube & the bright, bright white color. It has a pleasant minty smell & the flavor is perfect! It's not too minty, it just the right intensity of mint. When you begin brushing your teeth & gums, the toothpaste “suds up” great!! It's not abrasive at all, which on my porcelain veneers, is a big plus. After using it for 2 weeks, I can definitely see a difference in my mouth!!! My gums are not bleeding like they were, my teeth feel & look healthier, and the “dull yellow stains” are disappearing a lot faster than I thought they would. I am a heavy tea drinker & also a smoker so I had significant discoloration on my teeth & in just two weeks, the discoloration is all but gone!!!! For anyone who may be on the fence about trying “yet another” toothpaste promising to “make your mouth healthier & whiter”, I would very highly recommend that they purchase Creat Gum & Enamel Repair Advanced Whitening Toothpaste..... don't walk to your local store, RUN!!!!! It's definitely worth it!!!!

The cap to the toothpaste allows the bottle to sit upright. I love the way Crest Gum Detoxify foams up, it really feels like it's getting my whole mouth clean. I felt like the thick foam really cleaned my gums better. The taste was excellent, very minty and a fresh taste that kept my breath feeling fresh long after I brushed. I would recommend Crest Gum Detoxify to anyone looking for a clean, fresh mouth.

Once you start to brush you instantly feel the foam going to work on your gums like little workers cleaning your gums. As you can see from my photo, my husband and I are still fans of the Crest brand, as that's the only brand of mouthwash we use. I know because of our older age, my husband and I could use the additional enamel care for our teeth. I was a little apprehensive to try a new toothpaste that isn't geared only towards tooth sensitivity. I have used Crest's Gum and Enamel Repair Advanced Whitening toothpaste exclusively for a couple weeks now, and I'm happy to say I haven't had any tooth sensitivity. I was also a little worried about the taste of it as I'm very picky with toothpastes having a strange flavor or after taste. I am extremely satisfied with not only the flavor, but I'm glad to say I'm back to my old favorite brand Crest for our household toothpastes needs. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone. I'm excited that it's helping my gums and tooth enamel, which will in turn result in easier dentist visits and especially a healthier looking smile!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this toothpaste for about a week now and have noticed a difference with my gums. I usually have the problem that my gums bleed easily, but since trying this toothpaste the swelling has gone done tremendously. I actually just went to the dentist yesterday and she said that my gums looked much better than last time and to keep up the flossing ( I didn't tell her about the new toothpaste). The only reason I why I'm rating this 4 stars and because the texture of the toothpaste is off to me and I don't love that. It's almost like a foam istead of a paste. This makes me question whether or not it cleans my teeth as well as a regular toothpaste does. But overall I do like it.

This one was very gentle and I could see the difference. It wasn't harsh but did it's job. The only negative I have is that it's a little looser than other toothpaste and I'm one of those people who rinse there toothpaste before brushing and the first time it rinsed right off!

Crest Gum Detoxify Toothpaste does this incredible job of getting down into your gums and making your entire mouth feel clean. It's the best feeling ever! It actually makes me feel less guilty for not flossing as often as I should. One more way of being in control of your own health.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am not one to become excited about toothpaste. Unless one is very, very bad, most perform well enough for me. Crest Gum & Enamel Repair Advanced Whitening is really no different--and that's a good thing. It is a plain white paste, neither exceptionally thick nor thin, that squeezes easily from the tube. It foams readily, but does not become so frothy that it burns my mouth (a surprising issue for me, and the main qualifier for a "very, very bad" toothpaste). The spearmint flavor is not so strong as to be unpleasant, but is assertive enough to linger after rinsing. I like this, as it really emphasizes the clean mouth feeling, but one could probably perform an extra rinse should they take issue with it. I cannot say that my enamel has been repaired or that my teeth are any whiter than when I started using this toothpaste, but they have certainly not declined. Oddly enough, my favorite thing about this toothpaste is the tube, which features a broad, flat flip-top cap that allows it to stand up. Crest Gum & Enamel Repair Advanced Whitening may not be my new holy grail toothpaste, but it's a solid choice that I will use to completion and consider repurchasing, if only for the convenient cap.
