Cricut Joy Smart Label Writable Vinyl, 5.5" x 48" , DIY Label Making

i thought the cricket joy writable paper was wonderful. it does exactly what it says. i got it sooner than expected. i love it I can't wait to try another color out

I used this at Christmas to make some labels for cookies I had made as gifts. It was easy to design the labels and write/cut them with the Joy. I used the blue 0.3mm pen for the writing. The pen wrote on the material without any issues, and soon after they were done, I could rub my finger across them and the writing did not smear at all. However, weeding and removing the labels was a bit difficult. I had a long piece of material since I made 16 labels. The vinyl is very sticky on the back (which is good for sticking down the labels) but as I started to weed the vinyl from around the labels it started to curl and get stuck together. It eventually started sticking to the labels and the writing on one of the labels got messed up from me removing vinyl that was stuck to it. I ended up having to cut the excess vinyl off in sections as I weeded it. The other issue I had was that I couldn't get the labels off easily. I had to pick and pick at the edge of a label before I was able to get it started coming off the backer. This vinyl is a nice material to write on but a little hard to remove the labels from.

The value and how fast the order was and pickup. I have not used it yet but will soon.

I love this product, but when I use it I am going for the whole 48\", one project at a time. I do wish there were numbered guides on the back of the product. It would go a long way with using it, especially when it has to be unloaded per project. I can count all I want, but it doesn't seem to add up all the time, which ends in waisted time.

Would REALLY like more colors available. Not all pastels though as I understand we need to see the writing, but primary, secondary and tertiary colors would work too. Organizing with color coded labels is dope. It'll also add so many more options to artists. I know I would buy every color offered.

Not sticky enough. I have to use glue to have it stick

Very disappointing labels as they will not stick firmly to plastic drawers. That was one of the reasons I bought them, was to label my drawers with my circuit supplies.

I made a label for a bottle of hand soap in the bathroom. When the ink gets wet it runs, there is nothing permanent about this setup.

Yep, I see it now right in the description... "*Not compatible with Cricut Joy Gel Pens or Metallic Markers". Unfortunately, I wasted half this roll several months after my initial purchase because who would remember that month's later? And it's not even on the packaging, so it's not like I'd be able to see it and jog my memory or anything.
