Cricut® Rotary Blade + Drive Housing

This rotary works as intended. Just attach it to the cricut and make sure when you select your project to have the correct blade when cutting. It cuts felt like a dream. You may have to adjust the pressure of the blade so it doesn't cut your board as much (I'm still learning). Seems like sharp curved edges take longer. MAKE SURE your image has clean edges: I drew my own outline and had tiny dots I wasn't aware of from the AI background remove until it was cutting and it wasted alot of time. Keep it clean between project and brush it out should help maintain the blade

I recently purchased the rotary blade with drive housing for my Maker 3 and I am so glad I did. I used to quilt before I got into the Cricut universe a couple of years ago and my sewing fell to the wayside. I started seeing sewing projects in design space and I decided I needed to give it a try and I am so happy I did. The fabric cuts perfectly making the block pieces more accurate for piecing. After this purchase I am now enjoying my cricut even more.

I purchased this blade for cutting Crepe paper for flowers. Works like a dream. Slow but well worth the wait!

I don't use this blade a ton, but when I was cutting out masks for covid it was a big help. I don't feel the problem I was having was necessarily with the rotary cutter, it was the with the machine/design. I think the designs should be made to cut a little past the starting point, or a little beyond the corners so there isn't a couple of threads that get left uncut. I find this to be true with cutting vinyl as well.
