Cricut Foil Transfer Kit

I found this cheaper than eBay or the other local craft stores. It shipped fast and was ready to go out of the box.

The thought of using this was a little intimidating, but the Cricut video tutorial was helpful. I have only used this 3-4 times, but my results have been great!

Although I have only used it once to make a birthday card. It worked well and as I suspected it should. However I do wish there was one just a bit thicker

Good when it works but some card surfaces don't seem to have the right texture for a consistent design transfer

I thought it worked ok. Taping correctly is a challenge and I always have to go over it 2 to 3 times. It looks pretty, but there always one spot that is not covered well.

I'm not sure how to use this. I've tried and it hasn't been successful. Design space doesn't give very good instructions.

Still having difficulty with it. Even though I securely taped down the foil, it still tends to bunch up and make a mess. I have yet to make anything that successfully transfers the foil. I will keep trying.

I used this kit to add gold lettering to cardboard, but it didn't work well for my project. The foil needed to be secured with tape to stay in place, and removing the tape pulled at the cardboard's surface and left marks. The foil also transferred unevenly in some spots, leaving small imperfections in the letters, and gold dust ended up all over the cardboard. Some of these issues may have been due to my inexperience, but I found the kit difficult to use, and the finished result wasn't what I'd hoped for.

I use Design Space via my iPad. I did not know that the whole file transfer kit did not work on an iPad app. What I read said that it would work on the website. When I tried to use Design Space on the website on my iPad, it said that feature was not available. I have not yet had the time - since that wasted two hours of my time - to try it out on my laptop. I've ruined some materials trying to get it to work, and I am not a happy camper.

Does not give a good effect even after processing it twice once on normal pressure and then again with more because the line came out too small. Used Bold setting with the 3 line tip and got the same results as medium. The material being used was from the insert card kit that came with the foil so I know it was not the material being used. Waste of money.
