Cricut Foil Transfer Kit

I got this kit during the big sale as I figured I had nothing to lose and I’m so happy I did! I love how easy it is to swap the tips into the housing and create beautiful pieces. I do wish there was an easier way to attach foil sheets to your work but that’s a minimal complaint for me compared to the outcome I get!

Can't complain, does what it says on the tin, a good purchase. The only problem I have with it is not even the tool itself, but the "foil" feature in Design Space that instead of just tracing the lineart, doubles it. I had to use a cheat found on youtube to get some sort of solid line. It'd be better if the "Foil" feature wouldn't double the line and the line thickness would only be dictated by the size of the nib, as this tool comes with 3 sizes of nibs.

The thought of using this was a little intimidating, but the Cricut video tutorial was helpful. I have only used this 3-4 times, but my results have been great!

The foil transfer kit is of good quality. I used it to foil in the silver color a scripture reference. I used the medium on the Cherry Veneer. It came out a little lighter than I expected. But it is readable.

Great foil. I love adding tge foil to cards. Several fun colors. Comes with plenty of tape to hold to your project.

I haven't had good results using this tool. Have tried different settings but still not happy with results.

Doesn’t work well on my Explore One Cricut. I have tried everything people recommend to make it work and it still isn’t doing a clean transfer. The thick line is the worst one, but the medium isn’t much better. The thin is the best, but still doesn’t do a complete transfer.

This kit did not work for me. I did everything correctly (taping the foil to my cardstock and installing the tip) but the tip didn’t seem to have enough pressure to transfer the foil to my cardstock. I don’t have any other trouble cutting with my Cricut Maker 3 or the pressure, so this kit was not worth the money.

I gave this 1 star because unfortunately I can’t even try it. It should specify that you can’t use it with your phone or iPad and I don’t have a computer…

Does not give a good effect even after processing it twice once on normal pressure and then again with more because the line came out too small. Used Bold setting with the 3 line tip and got the same results as medium. The material being used was from the insert card kit that came with the foil so I know it was not the material being used. Waste of money.
