Crock-Pot Original Slow Cooker - Charcoal Gray

My first prepared dish for a company potluck, was a huge success thanks to this wonderful crockpot. The macaroni and cheese cooked perfectly and was nicely displayed in the casserole dish. Loved it so much, I repeated the dish for my family a few days later!

My sister has one that she brought for Thanksgiving and cooked her lasagna in it. We had several other dishes needing to go into the oven, so this was a nice alternative. It worked great. It was spacious (9"x13") and the pot could be lifted out to serve and later wash. My niece added it to her Christmas list because she liked it so much, which is the reason I bought it.

I bought this a month ago specifically for ribs-hubby LOVES ribs-thinking the area of this slow cooker would be an advantage.Well, I'm glad I did.Ribs come out much better than my large oval Crock-Pot...the surface area allows for more browning of the meat.I'll never do ribs any other way again.

Love this casserole crock pot. Easy to take to party's and pot lucks. Great for dips and sauces

I recently broke the inside crock of my 3.5 quart round crock pot. I was devastated because I use mine at least 2 times a week!! So I shopped around in stores and online before settling on a 3.5 quart casserole style. I cook a lot of roast so I thought it would be a great addition. Since receiving my purchase, shipping was delayed in the Midwest due to the polar vortex, I have used it just as much as before!!! I really love this casserole style!!!

Looks great. Only complaint is plastic latches seem cheap. I've been needing an extra way to help a casserole, keep it warm etc during holidays when I'm already using both ovens. Will be nice to travel with also

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the casserole crockpot a couple weeks ago. I wanted to try it out right away. I was having a dinner party and did an apple crisp. I was able to serve delicious hot apple crisp with cinnamon ice cream. I enjoyed my guests without having to keep checking the oven

It looks very nice, side walls are sturdy (other less expensive brands the sides push in) The dial is easy to read and turn. The locking lid makes a nice tight seal. There were a few blemishes in the ceramic pan but not bothersome. Only used it one time to reheat mashed potatoes on low. after three hours, the potatoes scorched on one end so it wasn't heating evenly.

I had high hopes for this product, but my husband and a guest ( separate occasions) were burned because the outside of the dish becomes very very hot when touched. - not going to use this one in the near future...glad there are no children in our house!
