It's a Christmas gift that my granddaughter requested

It was exactly what I was looking for

shipped fast. was easy setup. decent sound for what it is.

This was the second one I had to purchase, first one was through a different retailer and was broke (main present for christmas-so didn't go over well). This one is easily portable and easy to work, my 5 year old is the main one who uses it. And due to that, it was a reasonable price. The only issue I had was how it was delivered, not in a box within a box just in original packaging, left on porch in winter conditions.

Not sure how the sound quality is, because it is a gift. More of a cream color than the yellow it is described as. Cute retro vibe.

The absolute only good thing about this record player is its looks. It barely functions as a record player. As others have stated, the lid doesn't even open wide enough to fit a 33 on without scraping it, and the sound quality is HORRIBLE. I mean, appalling. The speaker on my phone has better quality and volume than this piece of junk. Even with headphones plugged in, the sound is tinny and distorted. I'm not exaggerating when I say I had one of those 1970's Fischer Price record players that was 10x better than this thing! Like, I've heard musical greeting cards that had higher fidelity than this, no joke. I really wanted to like this because it looks so cute, but ugh. I ended up returning it and going with a Victrola brand that has better reviews. I'm in an awkward position where I'm a record collector but I don't have a lot of money, so I was looking for something simple and portable for my 33s 45s and 78s. Despite what some say, cheap players don't typically ruin records (they all use the same mechanical parts) however there's something seriously wrong with the amp in this thing. I don't think it was defective or broken either, I think they just built it entirely for looks. Shame on them. Don't waste your time having to return this and hearing me say "I told you so!"

This should not have costed me 100 dollars. Why should a website be able to withdraw more money than you give it permission to.

Missing power cord and one latch to close is broken.
