Bought it because it is recommended for Crossman pellet guns to protect the seals as well as lubricate. Not a lot of lubricant for the price, but if it does as advertised I figure it is worth it.
CO2 Crosman .22 was losing range and precision. Used this on the rings and to clean the barrel etc. Restored better velocity and accuracy. Stopped minor leaking at the CO2 cylinder connection point. Just in time, wish I used this years ago.
A must have for keeping your air guns in good working order. Not for use in break barrel air guns.I have made mistakes in the past using other lubricants on my air guns and ruined the seals. So only use this oil to be safe.It is made specifically for air gun seals and joints.
I bought several of these over the years as needed. Great for use with my Co2 Pistols and other Devices. Drop on the top of the 12 ram cart and it keeps the seals from leaking. i have had a Co2 Pistol for over 3 years without issue using this product. I bought 5 units and put them with every Co2 device I use. Recently purchase as well.
Crosman 2100 manual suggests using pellgun oil to lubricate the pumping mechanism after every 250 pellet shots. However, I found that it is necessary to use the pellgun oil for every 150 shots. Totally restore it and even more smooth than the brand new 2100. Walmart shipping is only 99 cents.
So I bought this because my Walther CP99 was not puncturing the CO2 canisters correctly and it caused my CO2 canisters to leak which killed my maximum shots and life of the CO2. I've been reading around to see why it was doing so and many said that it was mainly due to the seal not being lubricated. Anyways I figured if I was going to keep my guns working in good condition this was what I needed. Pellgun oil arrived in a few days, put a few drops in gun to lubricate and ofcourse on CO2 canister. WORKED! Since then I haven't heard any leaks so this definitely helped. Also if you don't have this then you should because your guns need to be maintained ALWAYS. Why have a gun if you don't clean and lubricate right? *** A warning though if you're wanting to clean certain pellet or CO2 firing guns. NOT all guns recommend using this lubrication but it is versatile but many guns such as break barrels will not accept it as it will ruin your firearms. *****
i wounder what these oil has in it that makes special and will any oil work and get the same results
Great product, I only wish it were in a better container. The tube leaks if you don't keep it upright.
The oil itself is quality, which isn't any real feat as it's simple lubricating oil. However, after purchasing a tube for the 4th time and it have the same problem as every tube I've purchased before it, where it doesn't properly seal when the lid is on, causing it to slowly leak out. Not only is it a huge waste of product/money when this happens, but it will also permanently stain any clothing it gets on. As much as stand behind Crosman, this product needs improvement.
Seals leaking have been using Cristian oil as directed now it leaks out co2 cartridges as soon as you put them in hisses used only a dozen times
