I love the cuisinart pans they are everything they advertised nothing sticks to them and don't have to use a lot of oil good for eggs popcorn and everything.. Heavier than the usual non stick pans so keep the heat.. seems to be lasting a lot longer have 2 small frying pans and one large for crepes etc and a qt 1/2 pan would like a 2qt one but haven't seeen one yet. bought the ones I have on sale. Easy
I never thought a saucepan would make me so happy! Bought a month ago during a cold spell, it makes perfect oatmeal that never sticks or burns. And then wipes clean. The same goes for heating stews and soups. Even boiling an egg is a pleasure.
This is the 2nd time I buy this pot. The pot may not be top quality but the coating does not peal nor flake off, cooking in it is even and cleaning is fine.
This is the third set of non-stick cookware I've blown through in 9 years (I'm a very heavy cooker). While my go-to cookware is from that other popular manufacturer(begins with an "A" with a dash in the middle), I wanted another non-stick set for quick dishes and for hubby to use. I bought three Cuisinart Chef's Classic pots/pans. I couldn't be happier - they are lightweight and the quality is quite good! They heat up quite quickly and heat evenly. A good add to any collection.
Great product. Have now replaced all my Calphalon with Cuisinart
This is a review for the Cuisinart 619-16 Chef's Classic Non-Stick Hard Anodized 1-1/2-Qt. Saucepan: I purchased this small sized pan because my 1-quart pan is just a little too small for a few items. I also have both 2-quart and 3-quart saucepans. I find the 2-quart saucepan most useful of all. That seems to be because the 1-quart saucepan is just a little too small for some cooking chores in the kitchen. If the 1-1/2 quart saucepan works well, i will probably be using it instead of the smaller pan as well as the 2-quart. It seems the ideal size for making side dishes or heating leftovers for a family of 2 people The saucepan has a nice weight and finish. The only thing that I am not satisfied with is the handle. It seems a tad undersized, even though it is a smaller pot. If you want your cookware to last, do not stack one pot inside another without a dishcloth to protect the cooking surface from scratches. Yeah, use wood or silicone utensils too.
GREAT POT, BUT IT IS SMALLER THAN YOU WOULD THINK. SO DO YOUR DUE DILIGENCE AHEAD OF MAKING YOUR PURCHASE.
Somewhat a bit less convenient than the 2qt. But, suits my purposes fine. The weird shaped handle on this pot takes away from past cuisinart design quality. After only a couple of uses, afraid if left on the stove for too long, handle may scorch me while cooking. Feels like it may need some type of silicone/rubber protection on it.
Great pan, not exactly the size I wanted, but will do. (Was hoping for a 1 qt, but wasn't available.) Biggest con is that it isn't dishwasher safe. If I'd known that, I probably wouldn't have bought it.
DOES NOT WORK WITH INDUCTION COOKTOP! I needed a smaller pan to use on my induction cooktop and when going through the specs it says induction safe which lead me to believe it works with induction. It does not and if you look at their larger pot it says no induction. So now I shave to waste my time and return it.
