Compact and Works Great!
Bought to use with our new RV. First night we had steaks - best tasting steaks we've had in a long time; second night we smoked a turkey breast . . . wow! We love it!

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE Cuisinart Customer Service
KEY PART MISSING- Trying to get ANYONES attention on this smoker! Haven't used it yet -had for over a week- because is missing a key part (SEAR SHUTTER) to function- I've called the Service %23 in the manual %26 followed their instructions by leaving a voicemail (several at this point) Also sent email to them (as also instruction for quicker reply) with the requested documents- No response- After calling the service 800%23 several times- VARIOUS TIMES THROUGHOUT THE DAY-the default message is 'EXPERIENCING HIGH CALL VOLUMES-CANT HELP YOU RIGHT NOW' WILL CALL YOU BACK IN 48 HOURS' Nothing yet- Do better Cuisinart and also Wal-Mart as their distributor **********VERY FRUSTRATED!!!************

Will not maintain temperature
I set the temp on 225 for its first go round. I let the temp "stabilize" for an hour, then I monitored the temp as it fluctuated between 199 and 354 over the next two hours. I never opened the lid. Walmart gladly accepted my return.
