Very fast shipping and delivery. I was always afraid to use stainless steel for always thought food especially eggs would stick. I love fried eggs and wanted to make them taste like my grandma use to make them. So after receiving this pan, I was surprised that eggs would not stick and the pan cleaned so easily. Thank you cuisinart for making such a great pan.
I've switched to an induction hob for cooking large meals using my dutch ovens %26 wok, so I decided to expand my saucepans %26 skillets for induction cooking as well. The bottom of this skillet seems to be very uniform across the entire surface so there are no burned spots at all and the handle is perfection designed for the size of my hands
My new Cuisinart Professional Series 12 " cook pan is perfect for me when I need yo use a big cook pan and the handle on the other end really helps when I need to safely lift it full of food. I really like the size and shape of the main handle. The cook pan heats up quickly and evenly and the quality and finish of this cook pan is top 10.
Nice thick tank of a skillet with very thick base. Cooks even and heats up snappy fast.
Nice and heavy. Great for learning how to cook with stainless steel cookwear.
This frying pan is a good price at 29.99 and seems to be made well. However, it is not my first choice. It is not as heavy and sturdy as I would like. If you need a second 10” fry pan for backup or side, it's fine. If you are just starting out or have a very limited budget, yes, I recommend. If you can spend $10 more I'd recommend the Calphalon 10” triple ply fry pan for $39.99. Neither of these pans come with a lid which I find disappointing but I wanted an American brand.
So I have an electric stove so the bottom of the pan is perfect thickness it will not warp so I recommend it to those that have an electric stove.
It does not come with a lid. I just happened to have a lid that fit. I am not happy with the way it cleans up. I received this as a gift. I would not buy it.
You get what you pay for with this. it's ok. I was hoping for better. But worth it for that price point.
I don't see any advantages to this skillet. We go through all the steps to heat and prepare it for cooking, and the second you place anything with even the slightest bit of moisture in it, the food sticks like Velcro. Honestly, we don't think food tastes any better using it and it is a chore to use. It does clean nicely, but only if you polish it with baking soda and vinegar. Regular dish soap does not work. I have tried contacting Cuisinart about this, but never got a response. We finally gave up and went back to a nonstick skillet, which works fine, and doesn't require nearly as much effort. We have a kitchen full of Cuiseinart products that we really like, but I think this will be the last thing of theirs I buy. I do not recommend.
