Cuisinart Smartpower Duet /Food Processor 7 Speed Blender Brushed Chrome (BFP-703BC)

I love having a blender and a food processor in one machine. For several years I was chopping food in a tiny chopper which meant refilling the processor several times for one meal The Cuisinart Smart Power Duet Blender/Processor is easy to use and saves time!

I use this mainly as a blender, but it's powerful and can handle many food processor chores without the attachment. The food processor itself is relatively small but certainly large enough to chopp up a large onion or two, or a few carrots or potatoes. This is my favorite kitchen tool.

I received this as a gift from someone that knew that I wanted a food processor. The added bonus of the blender was a welcome surprise. So far the item has impressed me with it's fuctionality and easy storage.

Sadly, the blender/processor I purchased pulse button did not work. I had to take it back to the store, it would help if we could try a product in the store. I'm sure it was a glitch in this particular one.

Most versatile option from a reliable company when seeking a new blender

I've only used it twice and while i live the design and size I'm still not sure if xcx i like how it works. I tried crushing ice and it was disappointing as it was inconsistent. I also pureed pumpkin and that took forever. I usually love my Cuisinart products but this one so far has not worked as well as my cheap old blender.

This blender, while claiming to crush ice efficiently, overheats each and every time I try to do so. Even small pieces of frozen fruit will cause the same result. Definitely not smoothie or protein shake friendly. Very disappointed.

I was in dire need of replacing my busted blender and chose to upgrade to the Cuisinart Blender/Food Processor. This occurred 3 months ago and I must say, while the blender is ok the food processor is not a kitchen tool of my choice. Especially to grate cheese. The cheese sticks together rather than grating and producing strands to garnish soups, salads or serving in sandwiches. i am disappointed and sad.

Product was defective. Blender leaked and food processor would not attach.
