My girl's hair love this stuff. They have type 3/4 curry hair and this always helps to keep their hair healthy and manageable.

PROS: Creates good curl definition. Works better on dry hair. Pleasant fragrance, but very subtle. Not greasy or oily. Does not build up on your scalp or make your scalp itch. CONS: Does not dry with any sheen at all. They make other products that can assist with sheen and luster, but this product does not, which is a little unusual for products of this nature. Also, while is certainly defines curls well, it is not well suited to stretching curls out for a wavy look. I've tried many products over the years and the two things I love about this product is that it doesn't irritate my scalp or make my scalp itch, like many do. It doesn't flake off while sleeping and leave my bed full of residue. And last, it doesn't have an over powering fragrance. I used to use African Pride. Great for curls and waves, but very itchy and flakes off during sleep. I really Cantu, but it also makes my scalp itch, but to a lesser degree and flakes off during sleep. Both build up on the scalp and when you scratch, you get residue under your nails. Also, enough with the over powering fragrances. When I use Cantu, people are always saying, "do you smell coconut".
