I had one like this years ago and somehow lost it over a move, when I saw this I ordered right away and got it in just a few days. I'm now a happy camper again! I'm disabled and a Sr with limited income so anyway I can save a few steps is very much appreciated.

i had a lot of loose batteries and didnt know if they were any good or not so kept buying new ones. Finally i bought this battery tester and checked all my loose batteries and only had to throw away 2 batteries. This tester paid for itself on the first use. I highly recommend getting this tester, IT WORKS.

I've been trying for several years to find a nice battery tester. I finally found one! This works great for checking household batteries!!! AAA - AA - C - D - 9 Volt are all easy to test. I bought 2 and will be keeping them both. 1 for the house and 1 for the camper.

So simple to use and handy to have. How many times have you wondered “ is it broken ? Did I JUST put the batteries in this? They can't be dead..” My elderly mom thinks everything is “broken”, when usually it's just the batteries… then she puts the dead batteries back in the drawer. OMG. This simple item comes in very handy! And it tests button batteries as well as the usuals

I bought some automatic feeders for the feral cats in the neighborhood. If I know I'm going to be away a day or so, I use automatic feeders. I like to test the batteries to make sure they are good ahead of time so the cats are getting fed. This battery tester takes all the guess work out of it. Wish I would have had one of these a long time ago. There's no telling how many batteries I've wasted in the past. If you're on the fence, whether to purchase one of these or not, go ahead, you won't regret it.

What a great product! I love the fact that it doesn't rely on batteries, to test my batteries! It simply draws the •tiniest• amount of charge from my battery, in order to measure its strength. So I never need worry if a battery in the •tester• is losing power %26 thereby giving an incorrect reading.

Easy to use, very handy for testing batteries in balky remotes or keeping tabs on status of smoke detectors etc., you get the idea. Useful likewise for batteries on hand - some of us buy them in bulk and they sit for a while before using them as replacements.

It feels cheep,more like a toy than a tool. I have some issues with reading smaller batteries AAA kept falling out of unit. The spring if there is one should be more substantial. Allowing for its short commings it does the job. I am giving my recommendation on the ability to read and its size. My search for a reader was limited to online Walmart,no comparable item was offered at the time, this unit needed to be shipped for Postal delivery.

The product is easy to use and has saved me from discarding batteries that still had a charge. Would recommend. Reason for one star: Delivery was horrible! Instructions were not followed at all. In fact, if it wasn't for a kind neighbor that I met a few months ago, I probably would have never received the item. Ironically the picture delivery person took shows their complete lack of intelligence. The photo shows building front porch with the sign saying that my apartment is located in back. And my delivery instructions request delivery in back and in bold letters states specifically to not go to front door. I'm handicapped and cannot even get to the front door or porch area!!

Personal experience was disappointing. E-mail said it was delivered. No where to be found. Chat with Walmart staff said delivery notification has a two day window, and to call back after two days. Package was discovered rain soaked, three feet from the driveway in the bushes over forty feet from the front porch, and over 100 ft from the mail box. Found it by chance while treating weeds next to the driveway. How am I supposed to feel?
