I grabbed this to check all of my outlets to see which ones were grounded and if any other problems cropped up. After checking outlets with the device I then checked the trouble outlets manually to confirm accuracy. The lights are easy too see and make it easy to diagnose. It's easy to use and the construction of it feels good. Would recommend.

This tool is quick %26 easy I bought this bc I had an outlet go bad %26 with this tool quickly discovered that three outlets in house were wired up wrong The polarity was reversed %26 although appliances %26 lights worked it can be dangerous This tool you just plug in %26 observe colors of lights to see if everything is o.k. Plus you can test if Ground Fault outlet works properly too

The price was the lowest I found after looking in several other places. The product functioned exactly as expected. The reason for a 4 star rating on the item's quality is because I just acquired it, so it's too soon to determine how it will stand the test of time. So far so good though 👍🏻

Very convenient to check outlet to see if it has power and grounded instead of using the two wire method that you have to fiddle with. I did not check to see if the GFI works but I like the tool especially for the price. I have a couple other Hyper Tough products and they seem pretty good for the price and what a DIY person needs.

It is really easy to use. Just plug it into the receptacle and the lights will indicate if it is working as it should or not. Great item for your electrical toolbox.

Very happy with purchase worked flawlessly. Ecellent price. Well built. Saved much time without having to pull all electrical boxes to check ground in an old home. Saved alot of time in diagnosing and fixing these electrical issues.

I love this little tester it works great and easy to read even for someone with absolutely no electrical knowledge.

It works as I tested it in known "good" and "bad" outlets and it lit up correctly. I can not give a review for durability or longevity because I only needed it for 1 recepticle to check (no, I am not going to return it since it accomplished the 1 job I bought it for, you never know when it may be needed again somewhere down in time..and for the price, why return now just to pay more later when a price increase occurs, making this a worthwhile investment to keep for the 'just-in-case' moments!)

You plug it into your outlet, check the light and keep it moving. Easy to use and doesn't take up space. I use it at home and at work.

I got it and my son used it. He used it pn one receptacle and sfter that he liked it so much he had to check more.
