#1 and not even close
For years dating back to my youth, we were an Ortega household. As we got older, we'd try a variety of competitors including just making our own. They were fine. Along comes Tac-o. The first time you use it the reality of how much salt is in everything else (even low sodium) is staggering. How can you get THIS much flavor with very little salt? Then you realize you can just “go nuts” with it and your whole cooking world changes.

No filler. All flavor.
This is a great sub for Ortega. Not too long ago my wife and I switched to taco seasoning in a jar instead of the packets because we never use the whole packet. Swapped in Dano's and enjoyed the taste. No filler. You can tell from the nutrition label because Dano's has zero carbs and it tastes great too.

No Better Taco Seasoning than Dan-O's
This taco seasoning is the BEST. Like all of his seasonings, it's not too salty. I've found this works well in a lot of different recipes. I made taco soup last night, and it was the best I'd ever made. I love that I'm able to order directly from them because it can take a little bit to get the newer seasonings into the stores. I have a few that I still need to try- Dan-o's Preem-O comes to mind. I'm the #1 Dan-O's Fan-O!!!!

The best seasonings EVER!!!
It is awesome! We love it on pork, chicken, hotdogs!!!we add the Chili Lime sometimes to the chicken for quesadillas! OMG….YUM!!

Not salty and tastes good..... Doesn't have an overwhelmingly spicy flavor. Would prefer a larger size.
