I was so happy to receive this as my splash guard was so old and dirty and breaking apart. This one looks nice and new and just makes the sink look better. Initially I thought it didn’t/wouldn’t fit my opening because it didn’t just slide in like my previous one. It has a wire around the inside that helps it keep shape but is also flexible. A good push and the splash guard was in. It’s nice and secure and looks great in my sink. Works great as well for keeping things I don’t want down the drain since it’s not missing pieces.

I received the Sink Splash Guard for Garbage Disposals (in black) about 10 days ago. My old garbage disposal splash guard was deteriorating (must have been at least 15 years old), so I definitely needed a new one. This one arrived neatly packaged on a cardboard backing with shrink wrapped plastic. It is lightweight and made out of flexible black rubber. It easily fit into the standard opening of my garbage disposal. It went deeper into the drain than the photo on the website, but it worked just fine. I actually prefer it that way, because I like to keep a sink strainer on top. Even though my disposal works just fine, I try to stop food from going down the disposal in the first place. This new splash guard definitely reduced the amount of splash-back when the disposal is operating. Overall, a very satisfactory product!

This Danco 3.45 inch Black Kitchen Sink Splash Guard for Garbage Disposals works great and fits great in my black granite kitchen sink fitted with a garbage disposal NOT made by DANCO. As the package states, the splash guard fits most stand brand garbage disposals as long as the opening matches in size. The Guard installs quickly and easily, stays. in place and keeps 99% of food and water from splashing back up during the grinding process. It's an excellent product.

I thought these were standardized so it didn't fit my sink and I ended up returning. Appears to be good quality for money.

It says it's got extra holes for good drainage, but it drains really slow. It's so slow it feels like the drain is completely plugged. it's also too big. It says it fits an average/standard drain hole but does not.

Basic splash guard for garbage disposal in black. Very simple to install. Just use a screwdriver to pry out the old guard and push the new one into place. My only complaint is that the center looks a little chewed up where the corners of the flaps meet in the middle. Not sure I'd recommend it based on that. I prefer the appearance of my old splash guard. Shipping was fast and it was packed well.

Unfortunately, this product does not allow the food to go down to the disposal. I have to take it out every time just to drink the water push the food down in there, and then I replace it back into the sink and turn on the disposal. It does prevent the splashing it's just not convenient.
